This is a great tool. It works great. Just curious why it's not in the normal Milwaukee packaging as I have brought others. This was a gift so the presentation was a bit odd. It did NOT mention that it's refurbished, but it gives that vibe. lol Item came packaged snug with no scratches or dents. Item works perfectly, no issues with charge. Its such a powerful tool! I highly recommend.

Since I've decided to go to a single brand so I wouldn't have multiple battery chargers, I've centralized on Milwaukee since I have one battery charger for M12 and M18. I don't know if Milwaukee is better than other brands but, they had the tools that I needed when decided to go to one brand. So far, the Milwaukee tools have done an outstanding job for me so I will continue to buy more Milwaukee tools. This particular drill works very well for me since I really didn't need a hammer drill. Very powerful but, I don't know if it actually meets claimed power.

Milwaukee is among the best choices available for tools in this category. The brushless motor, metal chuck and significant power capabilities are all excellent. This drill is no exception. I needed it for a couple of fairly heavy jobs around the house and it handled them no problem. Note, the item is described as Milwaukee model 2803 but I received 2804 which is identical except that it includes a hammer-drill function. I didn't really want 2804 due to some reported issues by other users but I suppose time will tell. Heads-up to other buyers... at the time of this review Milwaukee Model 2804 is available through other Amazon sellers at a better price point with Prime shipping. If you really want Model 2803, I'd recommend contacting the seller (if it's JB Tools) to confirm you're getting what you ordered.

This works well for my husband. We bought it for his job, so he uses it everyday. It does what it is supposed to do. The battery on the other hand like all the batteries of these tools don't do so well when they are accidentally dropped, they will bust. But their power and life do well as long as you don't drop them. Luckily the price of the batteries are reasonable. Thank you for your time.

Powerful drill, well made. But compared with Makita, it is much more difficult to switch between gear modes (1 and 2). The stide mechanism is stiff and does not "click" into place.

I used Dewalt and Craftsman or several years but once they got tired, I decided to try Milwaukee based on the reviews. This is the best drill I have ever owned hands down. Great torque, speed control and overall power. Battery life is excellent both with the 2.0, 5.0 and 8.0. I have since bought the driver, blower and other Milwaukee tools and love them all. I bought this drill for my son for Christmas, and he really likes it as well.

Very excellent high quality drill. Smooth and easy one hand battery removal is very nice. My Dewalts are very stiff and require 2 hands and additional force to remove. Fits good in the hand. Small aspects like these separate Milwaukee tools from the rest of the pack. This is an extra nice tool. Lithium ion battery technology is very well developed and these lithium battery powered tools will blow your mind with their strong power and very long battery life. The lithium tools are advanced technology that is well thought out by the designers to perform beyond the limits of old technology cordless tools. Lithium tools are extra powerful.

Most of my power tools are Milwaukee from about 9 years now and there is good reason why. They last and get the job done then some. This new line is very powerful. I wish the batteries were more affordable but I’ve bought knock offs that seem to work fine for Now. I’m a home DIY guy and work on cars, motorcycles along with other interest and having good quality tools are worth the investment. You can’t go wrong.
