I connected this to a Sonoff switch, which if operated via my Alexa. Sonoff Wifi Switch Wireless Remote Control Electrical for Household Appliances, Compatible with Alexa DIY Your Home Via iPhone Android App (Sonoff Dlu) The light is very bright. I installed it in my kitchen as under counter light - it is very good. The Sonoff is a binary - it is either on or off, there are other switches available to give you brightness control - and you don't have to use any wifi connector! You can simply plug it in, and unplug when done. This is excellent under counter lighting, and I will also be using it to light some of the closets around the house, and some of my garage shelving. The white is much brighter than the white option on a color roll. The light as a sticky back to it which will stick to almost anything. Making installation a breeze. For the price, this is amazing, and so many options. Using an Arduino I am making one for the bathroom that will come on when it senses movement, then switch off after 10 minutes. The lights will go under the vanity, and will light the bathroom enough for a 3 AM visit, without leaving you blinded by the lights! You can cut the tape at any point. You can then use jumpers to place the next run around a corner or over a gap. With basic skills, you can extend those wires as long as you want them. You can also start another run with a 12v adaptor. Again, some basic electrical skills needed for that.

This package deal is completely worth the price! You get the LED lights, power supply, an extra power connector, a couple of strip-to-strip connectors, and the remote control cord and remote. All work perfectly so far, and I am quite happy with the functions of the remote. I purchased an LE brand warm tungsten LED strip to use in a craft project, and used the power supply and remote from this package to light them up. I decided to go with tungsten, instead of the daylight LEDs included in this package, just because it suited my project better. The daylight LEDs in this pack look great, and are quite bright...so no problem with them. The adhesive on the back of the light strip seems to be perfect. I have had other strips fall off, because the adhesive isn't the best, but so far so good with these! The remote has several buttons that serve different functions: It has 100%, 50% and 25% brightness buttons, which quickly sets the brightness of the connected LEDs to that percentage. It has Brightness + and - buttons that increase or decrease the brightness of the LEDs in small increments. It has a Mode + and - button that allows you to select different flashing patterns of the lights. It has several patterns to choose from, and there are Speed + and - buttons that increase or decrease the duration of the patterns. I have not used these Modes much, but from what I've tested, it has a normal strobe mode, a 3-flash then pause mode, what seems to be a simulated "lightning" mode, and more. I may utilize this more when I make a new Halloween display I am thinking about! This set was my first time at working with LED strip lights in a craft project. I was completely uneducated with how to wire different lengths of cut LED strips, but after purchasing this and some other connector options, I am excited to do more with them! For my first project, I created a shadow box replica of an old Drive-In Movie Theater that I went to as a kid. I wanted to light the sunset behind the theater screen and tree cutouts, and light the inside of the screen to illuminate the interchangeable movie scenes I printed out. The picture is not great, but you can see how it turned out. (It looks better in person...). I used a strip of 6 LEDs to illuminate the sky, and a strip of 3 LEDs to illuminate inside the movie screen. I connected the two using the ZITRADES 8mm 2Pin 10Pcs LED Strip Connectors I bought off Amazon, and splicing the wires together using electrical tape. I then used the included power supply connector and adapter with the remote control to give it power. So far, so good! I would recommend this LE light kit, and LE lights in general. I have purchased this, warm white, and blue LEDs from them, and they all look and work great!

These are a great deal. Very good quality. Dimming range was extensive. Max was quite bright. Adhesive is VERY strong. We put the lights up outside for Halloween. It adhered to brick and old limestone and old painted wood without any prep work, and the lights weren’t going anywhere! In fact, we are still brainstorming ideas for how to remove them. Unfortunately, it rained the next day and the lights stopped working. They didn’t make it to Halloween. But for most indoor uses, these lights would be perfect.

Decided to use LED strips as lighting in my small livingroom and decided to try these LE LED Strip Lights, 16.4ft 12V Dimmable Strip Lights, 6000K Daylight White, 300 Units 2835SMD LED Tape Light for Home, Non Waterproof, Power Adapter Included found here: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00MHLIFO8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This was a little of a test as I never really player around with LEDs very much, I bought 2 while they were on sale, both little boxes came in one amazon box without wrap or anything, both work fine all LED are good. I am thinking of getting a channel with diffusing cover to put along the ceiling and these strips inside them, it should work fine since they are so bright. I got this white only dimmable strip as it mainly to replace lamps since there is no native ceiling lights in this livingroom. For now I just stuck the LED strip right to the stucco ceiling and they are holding on just fine though I did add a piece of packing tape (wide scotch tape for packages) to hold the dimmer in place in the corner which takes weight off the sticky strip behind the led strip. For the sticky strip while it sticky enough if you are not careful when peeling back the back paper you can actually pull the sticky right off the strip, it was fairly easy to tap push it back in place. That's why I gave the adhesion 3 stars for this issue I had. That said if you stick it to a plain flat wall it should stick really well and you could most likely lose some paint when pulling them off. For my stucco ceiling however is was pretty good! I included a small video to show how bright these are, looking forward to next year when I repaint the whole apartment as I will more than likely add in some LED strips here in there as pure white lighting and RGB music reactive one's in some places. These btw should work well with led channels as they are so bright! Will update if I have issues but if these last say one or two years I will be very happy considering that these in the video is only one roll of 16.4 ft and cost under 20$ CAD. For a nice set up you ideally want more reach for the dimmer so you can control better where the leds themselves start, would have been nicer if the led were only along the ceiling instead of coming down the corner like you see in the video but that not possible as is due the the dimmer wire being so short. btw there was no remote control with these ones.

Great cost effective way to add ambient lighting. Be careful when installing, the strip is very fragile and easily rips apart. Luckily for me Amazon gave me a full refund and I ordered another one. I installed it under a shelf in a new pantry I built. The dimmer switch is also a nice feature. Also this is only white colour and has no remote.
