Motul 106352 Specific 948 B 5W-20 Synthetic Motor Oil, 5 Liter, 128. Fluid_Ounces, 1 gallon, 1 Pack

I'm very impressed with this oil, and it's worth the extra money to me. What I like about it is that it's 5w-20 like the manufacture calls for my engine. I have a stock engine with stock clearances, so the weight works out for me. Plus, I've noticed after running this oil for about 1200 miles, my engine started getting smoother and smoother. Now with 2K mile on the oil, my engine is really smooth. From what I've been told, this oil with it's chemical composition and the esters used is making a nice coating on the metal surfaces now, something that takes about 200 or 300 heat cycles to get going, and about 800 heat cycles to produce a thick coating on the metals inside the engine. If you would have asked me a year ago how I like the oil, I would have said it's over priced compared to Mobil One or even Walmart Super-Tech. Fast forward to today, and I think this oil is incredible. When I say smooth, I'm taking about engine vibration at idle, vibration accelerating to higher speeds and deceleration as well. This is now my oil of choice for my old school Yamaha inspired Cast Iron 2.0L engine with aluminum head (DOHC. 2003 Ford Focus 2.0L DOHC engine) with 120K miles on it.

I changed the oil in my Range Rover Sport HSE with Liquid Moly and despite being the brand Range Rover uses the car ran with clicking and noise and increasing vibration. I have used Motul before in other cars and was under the impression many oil geeks have created that they are equivalents. Not so! The Motul runs smoothly and quiet in the engine. The engine seems as if it has awakened and is far more responsive. This is the most dramatic comparison and difference I could have imagined. I spent about $100 gambling this would work and it absolutely paid off. Motul exclusively from here on out. Without being cliche... Awesome oil.

Motul 948 B is 100% synthetic and is an awesome product. I have a 2015 Mustang GT and I have been using this product since the first oil change. The Mustang has several high performance mods and the Motul performs above my expectations. Compliments over. Now just a word of caution. If you choose to use a hybrid European oil (Liqui-Moly, Ravenol, Rowe) in your vehicle, please go to the manufacturers website and confirm the proper specification before you purchase from Amazon. If you own a Merc, RR, Audi or BMW make sure the oil matches the manufacturers spec. Amazon is an awesome vendor, but sometime their recommendations are incorrect.

Following the advice of am acquaintance who is also a certified BMW mechanic, I started using the Motul line of oils about ten years ago. Me vehicles (one forty years old with 300,000 miles, the others between ten and fifteen) behave like new cars. The lubricant is also robust and can go for a year or more (even here in Florida where engines get ridiculously hot almost all year) before oil changes. May cost a bit more, but compared to major engine work, is insignificant.

Used on MY2012 range rover sport. I didnt know what to expect by ordering 10 liters of motor oil from Amazon. To my surprise, the package arrived quickly with no leaking. This engine oil meets the land rover specification for my engine. Otherwise, its just oil.
