Favorite Lip Balm
Revlon Colorburst Lip Balms are a combination between a lightweight lip stain and balm. Color lasts for hours, and lips feel moisturized in an instant. Balm is retractable, no sharpener required! They are my go to lip products. Can be applied in a jiffy and leaves my lips moisturized and looking fabulous! Glides on easily and the colors are buildable. The color "045 Romantic" is my Everyday Lip Product, cause I need something to last with great color. If you like lip stains that aren’t painted on your lips then you will love this! I have fair, sensitive skin and this lip color does not bleed or feather. I own 7 Revlon Colorburst Lip Balms (045 Romantic, 065 Irresistible, 015 Cherish, 220 Showy, 030 Smitten, 005 Crush, 035 Charm) but 045 Romantic is the only one I have repurchased 3 times this year, we're in October! Highly Recommend

Love it!
I absolutely love the Revlon Lip Balm, Tinted Lip Stain! It offers the perfect blend of color and hydration, making my lips feel soft and look vibrant. The infusion of shea butter and mango gives it a delightful scent and keeps my lips moisturized throughout the day. I appreciate that it’s not too heavy and provides just the right amount of tint for a natural, everyday look. Plus, it lasts longer than I expected without feeling sticky. This lip balm has become a staple in my makeup bag, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a nourishing lip product with a pop of color!

Not exactly a "stain", still my new choice for lip-color, check colors before buying suggested
I've bought six of these Revlon Balm Stains. I have been looking for good liquid stain that doesn't peel or get dry. But I haven't found a good one in a couple of years now. I thought I'd give these a go. I wouldn't exactly call them a stain. However, they do last a LOT longer than the Matte Balm that Revlon makes (looks incredibly similar and has some of the same colors but the Matte balm won't last an hour with normal sipping on water). Since they are not what anyone would consider a stain, I'd like to give them 3 stars; but, I'm adding a star since I have developed a favorite color and think I can live with these as my new lip-color. They go on smooth and you can feel the light peppermint oil tingle your lips. They haven't dried out my lips. They need 2-3 applications per working day, but will last through a bit of normal drinking water and chewing gum. They won't last a make-out session or eating. Also, unless you like hot pink 1980's style lips, do not get the Sweetheart/Valentine color! It's so bright! My favorite color is Adore. I thought I'd like Honey the best...but not so. Here's the colors I have purchased and my thoughts. I've also included a picture. I am fair/pink skinned (I wear fairly light bare minerals foundation during winter and fairly medium bare minerals foundation during summer) with dark brown hair and honey-brown eyes for reference. Honey: an almost neutral color but has purple-pink undertones. reminds me of a dusty rose or pink-heather color. Adore: some gold and brown undertones. not near as dark as suggested by some pictures. a very nice color for my fair skin and dark hair combo. appropriate for everyday, including work. Charm: rather light with lots of peach undertones. good for a "nude" look on my skin. works nice when blended in with another color (I liked it with romantic mixed in most) Rendezvous: looks like an orange crayon but wears like a dark coral. surprisingly nice, but can be a bit much. Romantic: balanced red - not too purple nor too brown. fades to a very nice pink from red. good for date nights. Sweetheart: bright 1980's pink. everyone will notice these lips. my least favorite color despite many compliments from men in my age group (mid 30's). incredibly misleading company pictures about this color.

Amazing!
From top to bottom... Sultry (a matte balm), Honey (balm stain), Romantic (balm stain), and Crush (balm stain) I LOVE ALL OF THESE. The Sultry matte balm glides on super smooth and even, and is super pigmented. One swipe and you're good to go! Honey is more of a neutral pink color but stands out just enough! It is sort of like a dusty pink color. Romantic is kind of like a coral- red color. It is not a true red but it's perfect for me! Not too orangey either, just the right hint of coral! & Crush is probably my favorite color by far. It is not the same as the color shown however. The color shown is like a dark maroonish but the color I received is more like a pinkish- purple color. If you look at the stick itself you can see tiny flecks of what appears to be glitter but I don't see that at all when I put it on my lips. All of the balm stains have a pleasant, smooth feeling going on the lips and they have a slight mint smell to them which I love. They don't smell like lip products. I ordered all of these from Amazon and they all came in individual sanitary packaging and I did not have any issues with broken seals or broken product at all. I would highly recommend buying these!!

Holy grail MLBB!
If I could only keep one lip product from my entire collection, this balm stain in Honey would be it! I have products from drugstore to high end so that's saying something. This is a perfect neutral pink-mauvey color. I have light-medium skin with yellow undertones (NC25) and this is a perfect MLBB (my lips but better) shade on me. It is moisturizing and feels light on the lips. There is a mild minty scent and flavor to it. I never have issues even if my lips are dry, it glides on and looks great. It can cover pretty well (zero patchiness) but is not as opaque as say a matte lipstick. As for the staining, with this particlar color the stain left behind is a slightly darker pink and not as long lasting as the more vivid colors in this line. I recommend allowing an hour or so after application for the stain to "settle" and last longer. I typically get about 4-6 hours wear before reapplying and when it does wear away it does so evenly. The chubby stick packaging makes it super easy to just apply on the go. I will always go back to this product and repurchase it. Never let this one go Revlon!

On the Fence...
I'm on the fence on if I'd purchase this again. For reference, I'm quite pale with warm undertones and medium pigmented lips. Let me start by saying that the color Honey is a perfect mid-toned mauvey pink. It leans a teeny bit to the coral side once I've applied it. It is a beautiful color that looks natural and I find that it would be very versatile with just about any makeup look and any skin tone. The packaging is nice- I like that it twists up rather than having to sharpen it. The chubby pencil look is adorable as well :) Here's Revlon's claim to fame for this product: "It’s a pampering balm fused with a lightweight lipstain in an adorable chubby crayon. Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain gives softer, smoother lips with a perfect flush of color that lasts hour after hour." Pampering? Eh, maybe. It has a delicious mint feeling that feels nice on the lips when first applied but instantly disappears. Softer, smoother lips? No. I exfoliated before applying this product and I felt like I had to press hard to get color to show up and then it felt a little like...moist chalk. It settled into the very few lines I have on my lips and made them look dry. Applying a balm or chapstick before this is necessary if you want your lips to look smooth and soft. Lasts hour after hour? I can say, with confidence, that this does last quite a while. I've worn it to work several times and I can always detect a faint flush of this when I get home 9 hours after first applying it. For around $9 at my local grocery store, this is quite steep when the claims Revlon makes aren't exactly accurate, at least not in my case. I love the color and the packaging is adorable but I'm sure that there are other products that are more moisturizing at a better price.

Honey Is a Beautiful Neutral Mauve!
Starting off with the elephant in the room; this product is as far from a "lip stain" as I am from Mars! I don't know what Revlon was thinking when they used the word "stain" in the name, I'm guessing they had no dictionary in the board room that day. Even that's no excuse in today's world because someone could have simply asked Google. That's my rant for this product and truly my only con for it either. Onto the pros! I have the Honey color, and no, it is not the actual color of honey. It's actually a beautiful mauvey neutral. It's quite soft and silky on the lips which lands itself as a perfect depiction of a balm. I used my phone's flashlight to apply it in the dark once and saw that it has a bit of a shimmer in the color and really gives it a more lipstick look. The shape of the giant crayon works very well for lining the lips before filling them in. If you use the side of the crayon to fill them in, you will be able to keep the tapered shape, otherwise you will end up with a fat nub that gives little precision in application. Also, the scent is very pleasant. It's almost like a minty chamomile tea smell that goes away shortly after you apply it. There's no flavor to it, which I prefer not to eat the color off my lips because of delicious lippies! I hope this helps you out. Please click helpful if it does.

Love this lipstain!
Finally, an affordable, moisturizing, long-lasting, rich colored, smoothly applying, lip stain that lives up to its advertised promises! Bought the "Romantic" shade and it's a gorgeous reddish-pink color that really pops on my fair Asian skin tone. The lip crayon goes on smoothly and feels like a minty balm with a hint of natural shine. Use the pointed end to outline your lip shape first then fill in with the crayon sides for color and best results. I like to top off wth a lip balm for extra moisturizing and shine but is not needed. You might need touching up after eating or drinking but the color it leaves on your lips still looks good without reapplication. Worth trying! I'll be purchasing in different colors for sure. UPDATE: Bought the "Honey" color also. The pic makes it look like a beige nude color but it's actually a perfect, natural-looking pink that would be flattering on most any skin tone.
