Kim (Jill Lansing) is a smart-mouthed high school senior whose boyfriend dumps her for a snobbish rich girl. Her poor grades and working class background make matters even worse, until Kim realizes that she can use her beautiful body to achieve her goals. Sexually blackmailing her teachers improves her grades and moonlighting as a prostitute pays off handsomely. But an easy life of vice pulls her deeper into corruption and crime, and soon Kim finds herself lured into the risky and bloody role of a high school aged hit girl! Review: Great Vinegar Syndrome release! Must own SoCal sleaze. - This is a must own. Even if you own this on one of many budget boxed sets - it looks and sounds amazing. Watching the VS bluray is like a first viewing. Great exploitation. Notable among the cast is Alex Mann (billed here as... I forgot). Anyway, he had another career in some of the roughest and infamous adult movies of all time, including Sometimes Sweet Susan (immortalized in Taxi Driver) and the even more infamous The Defiance of Good (starring Joe Spinell's wife, Jean Jennings, fresh from a Sean S. Cunningham soft core quickie and Jim and Artie Mitchell's Autobiography of a Flea who was STILL underage! Fred Lincoln and Jamie Gillis also co-star- a rough bunch, indeed.). Needless to say it'll never see a DVD release. His characters are invariably along the lines of "Rapist #2". (Apologies for the above trivia tangent) Mann brings this "roughie" frisson to this film - very effective. Of course there are some (intentionally) hilarious lines - eminently quotable. Directed by Irv Berwick (best known for the infamous Hitch Hike to Hell). One of California's greatest homegrown sleaze-shows. Jill Lansing, who plays the lead, never made another movie - too bad because she's the ultimate exploitation anti-heroine. Review: Good moral to the story in the end - This movie shows how a normal young lady can be seduced by a man with shady intent. It also shows how the fast life can lead to downfall.

Four Star Story
Young girl Kim decides to be decent to various males under the description "relief work" after seeing her father suicide due to mistreatment by her mother. Violates a fundamental rule of genuine relief workers by allowing Captain Hook into her life. Under attack from an improperly violent customer, she kills him with an ice pick and "graduates" to becoming a killer girl no longer in the relief business going so far as to terminate her high school principal who had become suspicious of her radically improved "grades". Then she goes to terminate the Sugar Daddy father of the girl who took Kim's original boyfriend, despondency over which reorganization precipitated her becoming a "relief worker". Is caught at the murder scene by the Sugar Daddy's daughter whom she also shoots dead but the group of hangers on causes her to leave her identifiable car. Original boy friend chases her down from the murder scene to where she is trapped, expresses an interest in terminating original boyfriend, and is shot dead by a police sniper. Terrible waste of talent subverted into organized crime. Not all that much acting talent shown by Jill Lansing playing Kim nor particularly good photography but the story is worthy of a four star rating.

Spare yourself
I had higher hopes for this "film". Three minutes in, the topless main actress gets out of bed before school and lights up a cigarette first thing. Sadly, it was all downhill from there. I don't know if it was the tired cliche girl loses boyfriend, girl sleeps with teachers for A's, girl starts prostituting herself, girl starts murdering people or if it was just bad acting and directing. We may never know the truth. All I know is it took a lot of effort to get past the initial 20 minutes that I now regret putting out that effort to stay in for the rest. If you want some classic 70's camp, go with "The Van".

Not what I was expecting
Kinda boring, really. I loved all the old movies from the 1980's, the dumb high school movies...like Joysticks, Spring Break, and Hogwild....not the one with Tim Allen...the old dumb one. All of those movies were a lot of fun, and I expected this to be the same. Anyway...it's not one of those.
