Cat Proof
This product works. How do I know? 1. Puzzle is assembled 2. Puzzle conserver glue is liberally applied 3. Glue dries 4. The kid’s cat takes a nap on puzzle 5. Something startles the cat 6. Cat freaks out and bolts 7. Puzzle flies off the table 8. Puzzle hits the wall 9. Puzzle lands on floor in a balled up heap It held. Seriously. Not a single piece separated. We just picked it up, flattened it out, and that was that. So yeah…this stuff is great. Cats? Not so much.

Does what it says
It is glue with a sponge top. I went over the face of my puzzle multiple times because I didn't adequately get it down all the cracks. Does not damage the surface. Also tried it on the back but surface was too porous. I could definitely do more than one puzzle with one bottle.

Defective or just plain bad?
My bottle must have been defective. I would only get very little to come out with pumping, which was not enough to fill any gaps. I can hear a lot of liquid in the bottle but sadly barely anything releases on pump. I have tried several coatings with this despite the circumstances and the puzzle never stuck. I originally assumed that perhaps a 2000 piece puzzle might be too weighty of the strength pf the glue but I know realize the issue was just the amount of glue in general. I might look into opening the bottle myself and scraping small coats on without ruining the puzzle

Easy
I was cautious about ordering this. I had never glued puzzles before. I did a lot of research about this and other products before ordering. I really wanted to save the butterfly puzzle and hang it up, so I tried this as it looked pretty simple. It was very simple! You have to make sure to rinse the sponge after each use. She. You are doing the front, it's hard to see where you have done already. However, there is a wet looking glisten to watch for. Once you get the hang of it, it's extremely easy. It works great! Even on my son's Angry Bird puzzles which are really thick. I wasn't sure it would work on them, but it did. I will keep this on hand for all our puzzles! I recommend this to anyone. Especially with kids, it's so easy they can do it. Please supervise them though.

Am I doing it wrong?
I bought this to make a 24" x 18" puzzle stick together long enough for framing. I'm on my fourth coat, going very carefully to ensure the entire surface is covered in the product. I am following the few directions on the bottle...but the adhesive effect is very, very light. I'm not sure if I'm doing wrong, but the only instructions appear to be the four panel picture on the bottle and some basic shake before and clean after instructions in text form. It does dry clear, to its credit. I just wish it behaved better than a liquified, diluted school glue stick.

Easy to apply & strong enough to frame puzzle
I love that the bottle has a foam applicator that makes the gluing process a breeze. The glue is a faint white, but turns clear by the time it is dry. I recommend applying 2-3 coats, depending on the size of the puzzle. I had to apply three coats to a 1000 piece Ravensburger, but this was primarily because the first couple of times I didn't really squeeze out enough glue -- it really works best if applied generously (you obviously don't want to SOAK the puzzle, but simply running the bottle back and forth without squeezing the bottle much will likely be insufficient). And like other reviewers said, be sure to place something underneath the puzzle (I slipped in some wax paper) and to also rinse the foam applicator with water after each coat application. As to the end result, the puzzle was glued strongly enough to be transferred to a frame (I used a 32 x 24 frame made by ArtToFrames, along with their 32 x 24 mat, which has an opening approximately equal to the puzzle's dimsensions). There were a couple pieces that I had to push in after the transfer. Since the frame has a glass front, I am not worried about the puzzle falling apart. I wouldn't trust the puzzle to hold together without proper framing, though. I guess there may be stronger glues out there, but I really wanted something gentle and neat for my puzzles. This glue fulfilled that need.

Great stuff if you do it right!
First time I did a 1500 puzzle and it took 3 coats. Even then I wasn't sure it was solid. Then did a 1000 piece and it was perfect with 1 coat! First time I was just gliding a liberal amount over the entire puzzle. Second time I went row by row and put a liberal amount over each joint where 2 pieces met. And watched that an amount of white glue got between each two pieces. Waited 2 hours and perfect! May put duct tape on back again just to be sure before hanging. Have maybe 1/4 bottle left for next puzzle.

I am amazed this worked!
The instructions say to lay the puzzle out, completed. Then put a coating of this glue stuff over the picture. I did exactly as I was instructed and it worked! I believe the glue works by putting a clear coat of epoxy over the picture, joining the pieces with glue in the cracks. Make sure you are getting glue in the puzzle cracks; I think that is where the epoxy is most needed. I had to go over a couple of spots I missed the first time because when the glue goes on, it really is kind of clear. It dries absolutely clear, but while wet it has a little bit of a white opacity. Because it only takes a reasonably thin layer to do the trick, I missed a couple of spots and had to redo those areas.
