AMAZING REVERSE OSMOSIS WATER SYSTEM
I’ve been very impressed with the iSpring RCC7AK reverse osmosis system. The improvement in water quality was immediate — clean, crisp, and smooth tasting. The alkaline remineralization stage is a big plus and really makes the water taste better than bottled water. Installation was straightforward, and the system has been running flawlessly. Filter replacements are easy and reasonably priced, which makes this a great long-term investment. I also want to highlight iSpring’s customer support, especially Nick, who was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all my questions, addressed my specific needs, and made the whole process stress-free. It’s rare to get that level of support these days. Overall, this is a high-quality system from a company that truly stands behind its product. I would definitely recommend the iSpring RCC7AK to anyone looking for cleaner, better-tasting water.

Very good system/not so good paperwork
5/9/2017 - Upgraded to 5 stars. You're supposed to change the filters once every six months. It has been three years since I have installed this system and I have not done a thing to it. I should also note we have HORRIBLE water in my area. Today, I decided to purify it and change the filters. So far, I've only removed the third-fifth stage filters so I can purify it (don't want the natural water through the system, so I left the first and second stage in). For three years of use, I cannot believe how clean the third stage and membrane cylinders were. Moreover, the water still tasted fantastic. Even if the company has not fixed their instructions (see below), the performance of this RO unit is well worth the price. ------------------------ I'm installing this system now. When I opened the different plastic parts, they were all wet! Literally water in every one. So I came on line to find out why/call the company. Turns out, they're open 9-5, EST. Would be nice if they remembered that there was a lot of people on the West Coast as well. Nevertheless, after searching around, I found this line. "Our RO systems are 100% wet tested before shipping " Great! But, what does that say about how they dry/ship the product if they're wet when they're being shipped? Or, for that matter, how do I know mold isn't growing in the lines on the faucet side of the filters? Not impressed so far, but will update again as I finish and see how things go. UPDATE: The RO system is now installed. Problem: There was a few frustrations with the installation, but only one that is the fault of the company: the instructions! They are not complete by any stretch of the imagination. If you're looking for a simple start here and end here with a functional RO system, you won't find it. What you do get, is a set of papers that show you two or three independent how-to's: how to install the water tank shut off valve; how to install a spigot; how to install the filters. There's no steps for putting the individual units together as a single RO system. They do, however have an expanded picture on the front, so if you're a visual learner, you can put it together (and really, it's not *that* difficult). Yes, there are videos on the website/youtube, but I expected at least a decent set of written instructions. More Positive note: After everything is installed and I tasted the water, it was exactly what I was hoping for. I was replacing another RO system (five stage) and had bought the six stage with the hope of reintroducing a little more taste to the water. It did that, and did it well. By that, I mean, it's almost unnoticable, and that's a good thing. There's just the hint of taste as you would expect in good water. It's not a taste that will overpower anything you use it to cook in, or anything you mix it with. We filled and emptied the tank twice before keeping the water (I tasted it on the second empty, and it was already good, but we went ahead and emptied it again just to be sure). So, thumbs up for that. ---------------- Installation tip: if you're replacing another RO system, make sure the hose sizes are the same. I didn't, and I am frustrated because I had to tear out all the connections (or by reducers). This issue has nothing to do with iSpring, it's just my own lack of checking. So, make sure you check the size of hoses you're replacing. The hoses in this system are ALL 1/4 inch. And now, I have to go replace a leaky shutoff valve . . . but that isn't iSpring's fault either since I bought it at Lowes for this project. Oh, and one last thing. Note how quickly my review was responded too by the company, and how they were NOT defensive. They explained what they did, and offered help. That alone is worth the headaches mentioned above. Updated from 3 stars to 4 stars. Bad paperwork and shipping wet plastic parts kept me from the fifth star, but don't let that influence you not to buy this RO system. It looks as though, in hindsight, it's going to be worth the money. Update #2: Great tasting water, and worth the hassle/headache. I'm still deducting a star for the bad set of written instructions, because they really are that bad, but pairing it with the pictures and the video, anyone should be able to put it together. It is definitely worth it. Update #3: Have system for almost a year, now. Had one leak when a hose cracked. Not sure whether to blame that on the company, or on my installation. Nevertheless, water is still tasting great and we've had no other problems at all with the system.

Get this one!
This is a great system if you want water that tastes as good as high quality bottled water. We had a whole house sediment filter that removed some of the "dirt" from our city water but it still had a chlorine taste so I got a single stage filter. That was a nice addition, it removed the chlorine taste and made the water more drinkable but it still tasted "off". So I got and installed a 3 stage filter. While somewhat better than the single stage filter, the 3 stage was still lacking what we were getting delivered in 5 gallon bottles for our water cooler. I can't give it a fair description but it was still just a little off. I was hesitant to pull the trigger on this full RO system for a few reasons. 1 being cost. I thought the filter replacement would be costly and frequent. Turns out it is only about $70/yr. Which is not bad for bottled water quality water any time you want it. Our water delivery is about $30/mo so this works out to be quite a bit cheaper. I was also concerned about the size of the system. With the storage tank and the 6 filters, this isn't a "small" system that you can tuck under a sink. Unless you have a giant area under your sink this does take up quite a bit of room. But for the quality of water this system produces, I feel it is worth the sacrifice. We just need to get a little more creative with how many cleaners and dust pans we keep under the sink now. And I've also seen people set this up in their basement and then run the lines up to the sink, which could also be an answer for some with space concerns. Overall I should have just installed this unit in the first place. It would have saved me about $400 in single stage and 3 stage filter setups. This is the one to get! Also there's a guy on YouTube that goes by "The Fixit Shed" who has an excellent installation video. If you've ever done any plumbing before, set aside 2-3 hours and you can just go step by step through the video. My only advice is the tubing needs to be well seated in the housings. Push those little suckers in as far as you can or you may have some leaks when you turn everything on. Other than that, I say get this system. It will magically transform your cruddy city water into great tasting healthy water right before your eyes!

Great value and really great tasing water.
This RO unit was easy enough to install. It provides great tasing water. Overall, we are very happy with it. The only thing I don't like is that the drain makes noise when it is working. It's a trickle water sound. It's not loud and I am sure I will get used to it. But I'm still at the point where I hear that sound and think the faucet is still running or there is a leak. This RO unit is pretty big. It takes up most of the space under my sink. It fits, but doesn't leave room for much else. I'm ok with that though, so no big. As for the drain "Saddle" that they provide with the unit. I don't trust it. I've used drain saddles before and they eventually leak. So, instead of using the drain saddle that they provide, I use a dishwasher drain Tailpiece with High-Line Branch for my drain. It costs a little more money and adds some time to the install, but in the long run, my method is surely not going to leak. It is definitely more reliable than the saddle piece provided with the RO unit. I added some pics of what I did. It's easy enough to install and gives me piece of mind. The other thing I really like with this RO unit is the automatic leak shutoff valve that they provide. It is an ingenious little device that give me a lot of piece of mind.

Great RO System, Worth Every Penny
Really great RO system. With all the PFAS in water nowadays we mostly got this for the health benefits, but what I’ve loved most is the flavor of the water. It’s better than even the ‘fancier’ bottled waters like Fiji, and is infinitely better than tap water. The only downside of this thing is that it makes water you get from anywhere else taste not very good. We loved ours so much that I installed a second one for my parents earlier this week. Install is easy. The printed instructions aren’t very good but there’s a number of YouTube videos that walk you through the whole process. It took a couple hours, but nothing crazy. Can’t recommend this enough, well Never live without an RO system again.

Great RO filter system.
Filter system works well. Manual could be better but since it comes almost fully assembled and, and this is my third RO installation, it was easy enough for me. The sink faucet shipped with the kit seemed a bit flimsy and had a leak. I contacted iSpring support and representative Iris quickly sent me a more robust replacement.

Easy to install, great instructions, amazing water
This reverse osmosis was packaged with great care, and it arrived without any damage. The instructions were amazing and made it easy to follow. There were even colors and pictures/diagrams so you know you’re assembling it correctly. The instructions are filled with tips likely based on other people‘s mistakes. These tips saved me a lot of time and heartache. After I was finished with the installation, I checked for leaks, and there were none. The water tastes delicious, and I’m so excited that it’s remineralized. Other reverse osmosis systems that don’t remineralize leave you feeling bloated. Whenever you drink the water, the faucet is classy and easy to use. The water pressure is as expected, and the water is completely clear. They sell packages of filters making it easy to change the filters when due.

Great Water Quality & Even Better Support After a Missing Part
I’m really happy with the iSpring RCC7AK now that it’s up and running, but the experience started with a major hiccup. When I unboxed the unit to begin installation, I discovered the Faucet was completely missing from the package. It was frustrating to have to halt the project before I even started. However, I contacted support and worked with Nick, who was outstanding. He acknowledged the issue immediately and sent a replacement faucet via expedited shipping that same day. While the missing part was a hassle, the customer service from Nick was top-tier and saved the experience. Installation & Performance Once the faucet arrived, the actual install took about 1.5 hours. It was much easier than I first thought, especially with the quick-connect fittings. The Tank: The design is great - it only needs a single water tube and works via air pressure (has a Schrader valve). It’s been working perfectly. Water Quality: The taste is excellent. The 6-stage process makes a noticeable difference. One Recommendation The YouTube installation videos are still very helpful, but iSpring should really refresh them. Several parts in the videos seem to be for an older version of the filter, which can be a bit confusing during the process.
