Well designed and seems to be well built. I have had a “small rig” branded version of this same item for over a year and really like it. I bought several of these both for my own use and as gifts. Who can’t sometime use a third hand to hold a light. Hold the camera still. Hold your phone. Whatever! Really impressed with how easy this is to adjust and how stable the rod is once it is set! This is a must own. At least one!

Neat little device that works perfectly with my Ninja. Very bend-y, but locks tightly in place once you have the desired position. I might have to get a couple more...

Works quite well in a few positions for holding an iPhone - though I would not put anything much heavier on it. The rotating balls do not lock down very tight though they arm positions will hold in a few set positions due to limited range of motion. So if you know how to "work" the arm to get just the right angles to keep the joints strong against gravity - you are set.

I gave this arm 5 stars for how well it fit my needs, not for if it can do what they claim it does. I have a Youtube hunting channel and I needed an arm that was built strong to mount a field monitor to. It needed to be able to handle harsh weather conditions, that included below -0 temps, and would still work. This arm handles that well. After doing a lot of research (which you should also be doing) I knew this would meet my needs. This arm will handle field monitors, lights, and action camera's like a champ ! Now if you are looking for a arm that can support a DSLR camera, like they claim. Forget about it, keep looking, this arm won't support any of mine. But if you are looking for a strong, high quality arm, that can handle all the harsh weather that you can throw at it, to put field monitor, lights, and action camera on. Then this will do you well. Purchased this product as a monitor arm for a variety of different 7" LCD/LED monitors for my various film rigs. So long as your monitor is not too heavy it works relatively well, though you need to keep the center of gravity somewhat over top of the middle joint or knuckle. Extend the arm out too far beyond center and it will slowly sag. It will sag faster if your rig is moving. If your monitor is on the heavy side, either due to its physical properties or onboard batteries, this arm is a no go. Works well for other ancillary gear too, mainly small microphones or other lightweight accessories.

Holds well and has multiple uses. I've used this for mounting a webcam and for placing lightweight video lights off screen

Upon first receiving this it seemed to be of good quality however after an hour of attempting to mount it to various places (desk, rear of monitor, light pole) I couldn't find a position that I felt confident would hold my Sony A6400 with Sigma 16mm without sagging and potentially dropping. The mount has a bit of cushion which means that it slips a bit when it grabs something and because the two surfaces where it can grab are separated by an angle there is very little surface area to leverage onto a surface. Unfortunately after trying to mount it to three different places one of the plastic pieces snapped off which now renders it useless.

This is a very rugged and versatile product. It clamps onto just about anything and adjusts to almost any position. I was expecting plastic, but it is almost entirely metal. The only part that is plastic is the knob to tighten the arms, and the knob is very sturdy. I would buy it again and highly recommend.
