In concept, anybody having a child who can reach and pull things off the counter, needs to have this product. My grandson often sneaks up behind me without notice and I'm horrified by what could happen if I turn away even for a second. He understands "hot" and he knows not to touch, but he is two. This product has eliminated any doubt, plus it minimizes splatter. It is sturdy, adjusts easily to any width, looks really nice, and disassembles easily and completely in seconds for cleaning leaving only the two small mounting tracks on the sides. The tracks are hardly noticeable if you only used this guard part time (grandkids visiting, etc). The only downside is that it is in the way when trying to fry eggs or something and need to get under them with a spatula. You adjust to it and the inconvenience is not comparable to the benefit of having this peace of mind.

A little pricey but definitely worth the peace of mind! It is very nice looking, better than I thought it would look. It's super easy to take apart. I was boiling a large pot of water and sauteing some chicken (both on the front burners) and after about 15 mins of the burners running on high, I touched the paneling and held my hand there for over 20 seconds. It was pretty warm but I wouldn't say it was hot. It was more towards the top of the panel that was the warmest temp and my toddler who is very tall for his age probably couldn't reach(he is 18 months and fits in 3T clothes). I'm very happy I spent the money. Love the fact that he can't play with the knobs anymore and can't reach and touch the burner(I was always on edge with this since we have an open concept kitchen) Don't usually write reviews but since I was so happy and pleased with the child proofing, figured I'd try to help other mommy's and daddy's out!

We just bought a new home, and the stove is free standing. We have 3 young kids, and a german shepherd so my first concern was how to make a block that was safe for the stove and still allows unblock views. This fit the bill perfectly. It sturdy and does exactly what is needed. Gives me enough piece of mind when they are running past. I do recommend that maybe in the future the company make a taller kne. Maybe one more level higher, and maybe one that could support a cool back splash for the pasta sauce splash.

Perfect!!!! Extremely easy to assemble, and the website provides video of assembly instructions which was great. The outside is never hot when cooking, most is just warm to touch. Excellent for both toddler and food protection!

I bought this to keep my son (a toddler) from the stove heat. I do gotta say it is pretty big and a hassle to remove every time I need to cook to be honest. You can’t cook with it on the stove since the material is aluminum and with the heat it makes it very hot which beats the purpose of buying this.

We bought this bc our toddler is a bit adventurous these days. He reaches up on the counters and we’ve tried locking everything lockable. The only part we had worries abt was the stove. This is the perfect fit for us, we don’t even realize it’s there when we are cooking, it doesn’t get in the way. It is very secure, and doesn’t get hot. I feel so much less stressed when I’m cooking now and don’t have to worry about curious fingers reaching up to see what I’m doing. Buy this, it’s worth it!

Love this! My daughter is young but very tall so she doesn’t quite understand yet not to touch hot things but can easily reach. It was so stressful trying to keep her away from the stove while I cooked every night. Our back burners are too small to cook for the whole family so I needed to be able to use the front ones as well. Super easy to install, and I love that I can take it apart and clean it. I also love that it doesn’t look cheap and looks better than I had expected. I haven’t noticed it getting hot at all, which was something I was originally worried about. I haven’t removed the adhesive yet from our quartz but think some goo gone will work when the time comes.

Absolutely love this!! Our cabinets are very short and we have a counter top glass stove top that our two year old can easily touch. We got this to help with safety and it has honestly been amazing! It’s easy to clean, stays in place and does not get hot.

This works well to keep my toddler from touching our gas stove. It doesn’t fit perfectly on our range, as the height of the range is higher than the counters on the sides. I had to place the front of the guard in front of the oven, instead of on the top, which leaves small gaps in the corners. I’m theory, this leaves a way for a small child to reach up through the corners and access the stove, but that has not happened yet. It’s still better than any alternative I could find.

Nous avons acheté le produit afin d’éviter l’accès à la plaque chauffante et ainsi éviter des brûlures lors de la cuisson. Nous sommes très satisfaits du produit. S’installe facilement et solide. La raison pour laquelle nous donnons quatre étoiles c’est en raison du rapport qualité/prix. Je m’attendais à ce que le matériel soit un peu plus épais par rapport au prix.
