It works great. Was concerned with a couple of reviews. But cam lock is heavy a d fits nice and snug like it should be. I have no idea how anyone could have bent plate.... great tool for the money. Arrived on time. I would definitely recommend for VW 1.9 ALH

This is a must when doing a timing belt on a tdi. I got the tools to work but with some modifications. First off the cam plate was made from soft metal and I ended up bending it. Not a big deal just straightened it back and was more careful when using it. Second thing was the tensioner tool broke. Both pins snapped off on the first attempt. Not the end of the world. I brought it in to the hardware store and found some bolts and nuts that fit back in the holes and that worked amazing. I didn't have any issues with the injector pump pin. So I will say this kit will help get the job done but you might have to get creative. But overall it's a good price.

Fit the timing belt tensioner perfectly and made it easy to tighten. I used it for a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta S 2.0

I don't think I've been more disappointed in a set of tools...The mistake was mine for purchasing these cheap, low quality tools. You get what you pay for with these. Save yourself a headache and do not buy this set. To start with, the only tool that worked correctly was the injection pump lock pin. The cam locking plate dids not fit in the key-way of the cam. I had to sand the paint coating off to get it to fit, even then it took some gentle persuasion. The tensioner spanner for the timing belt tensioner bent the pins instantly. The tool is fubar and I hadn't even got to tensioning the new belt yet. I've got a 2000 ALH TDI Jetta that I bought these tools for. The ALH is going on its third timing belt. Still going strong after 330,000 miles. Suffice to say, I know my way around this and many other VW's I've owned. Save yourself the headache and purchase some other quality tools, pay once, cry once.....
