NEEWER 32x32 in. PHOTO STUDIO SHOOTING TENT LIGHT CUBE - A MUST HAVE TO AVOID REFLECTIONS IN PHOTOS
As you can see from my photos, the 32x32 in. (80x80 cm) Neewer Photo Studio Shooting Tent is much larger that you might think! This is a good thing for me -- and for you -- because you will avoid getting pictures of the seams of the backdrops when you are shooting photos of your products for product photography. I purchased this Neewer Photo Studio Shooting Tent mainly because I know that Neewer products are very well made and I needed some type of shooting tent in order to eliminate the reflections that I was getting when I was trying to shoot photos of bubbles. I was getting reflections of everything in my room in the bubbles which ruined all of my shots! Although the process of trying to collapse any studio shooting tent may be confusing at first, just go to YouTube and you will find a video on how to fold it so that it collapses easily for you to store away. Or if you are someone who will be using this rather frequently, and if you have enough space in a room to set it up and keep it up, then that's even better! Even though the backdrops come with creases in them because they are folded, with some patience it's rather easy to iron them out by misting them with water and ironing them on medium heat as I did. Then roll them up to avoid future creasing. The Neewer Photo Studio Shooting Tent comes with four different colored backdrops: white, black, blue, and red. You could also create your own backdrops by purchasing some material and adding velcro to the backside of it as the backdrops that come with this Neewer tent have. I am very satisfied with the quality, size, and performance of this Neewer Photo Studio Shooting Tent and I am looking forward to taking many more distraction-free, reflection-free photos!

Good shooting tent for tabletop use when photographing products
For less than twenty bucks I got just what was described. A 24"x24" photo studio cube in white, with four sheets that Velcro to the back and sides of the cube to change up the backdrop color, or move it to other sides. The included items came in the black nylon case shown in the product description photo. I will be using this cube to take product photos, and I think it will be great for this purpose. I have purchased lighting: StudioPRO 2 Light Photography Table Top Photo Studio Lighting Kit to use with this cube. I'm pleased with the item. It's as described, and the backdrop colors are as expected. It has a door that allows for me to slip my camera through, but not let external light in when I take my shots. Yes, it does take some time to get the wrinkles out, but I suggest when you get it you open it up (be careful as it can smack you in the face when it first opens) and let the wrinkles work themselves out. You may need to iron the backdrops prior to use. The 24"x24" size is ideal for me and seems even larger. I'm glad I didn't get the 30" size I had originally considered as for my needs it would have been way too big. This is perfect for use with my Ravelli APLT2 50" Light Weight Aluminum Tripod with Bag on a table top, which is what I was hoping for when I made the purchase. One issue: the slit for the camera in the front of the tent cannot be closed around the camera, which does let in some light. Not a huge issue for me, however it would be better with a zipper on it to allow the user to close around the camera lens. Overall, I recommend it as it does the trick and is priced right.

Great photo tent for product shots with a few minor inconveniences
This light tent works really well for what it is designed to do. It creates a soft, even light that is perfect for product photography and small item shoots. The size is large enough to handle most objects comfortably without taking up too much space on a desk or tabletop. It is lightweight, easy to set up, and provides a professional look to photos once you get your lighting adjusted correctly. The included backgrounds are a nice addition, though they come very wrinkled straight out of the package. I recommend washing, steaming, or lightly ironing them before use to get a smooth, professional backdrop. Once prepared, they look great, and the color variety makes it easy to match different products or themes. The only real downside is folding it back up after use. It takes some practice to collapse it neatly into its original carrying shape. The material is flexible and sturdy enough to last, but it does not fold intuitively. With a little patience and care, it stores compactly and remains an excellent addition to a small home studio or e-commerce setup.

Inexpensive Photo Cube Works Well
The Neewer Photo Studio light cube is just the thing I was looking for to help me take better photos of small items. This cube is 24"x24" when opened yet folds up into a small little package for storage. When set up the light cube resembles one of the many foldable laundry baskets that are on the market. It's made out of a material that reminds me of a parachute and has rounded support edges. The front panel is open but has a lip which is about an inch wide. This lip is necessary to provide a space for various strips of velcro needed to hold the removable screen you put on the front to complete the cube when needing that diffused light. The removable screen has a slit built in so that when attached you can still put a camera lens inside and continue taking pictures. Included in the package are a storage bag and four different backdrops (red, white, black and blue). The material this light cube is made out of makes easy work of getting decent lighting on the items I'm trying to photograph. There is nearly no glare even in natural lighting. I bought the kit without included lights and have set mine up to use some LED lights I already had. I use three that can shine in from either side and/or the top/back depending on what kind of lighting I need. The material does a terrific job of diffusing the light. There are a few things to note about this light cube and the backdrops. When you first open it the entire cube is a wrinkled mess. I took a small iron to all 5 sides to smooth them out. Two of the panels have velcro on the interior so you can attach the backdrops. Smoothing those panels out actually seemed to help the backdrops lay a bit better, though they are not perfect and still show wrinkles depending on what I'm photographing. Speaking of the backdrops... these come folded into little squares. First thing out of the package they'll need to be ironed. Some people have commented that they washed and then ironed, but I just ironed and they smoothed out nicely. I have not tried to fold this up and put it away since I first started using it. I feel like this will be a challenge as it was a bit of a puzzle opening it up. My advice is to pay attention to how it's folded when you are opening it and try to recreate the folds when putting it away. Or you could do what I plan to do and that is NEVER fold it up!

Good for starting out
This is not a bad little photo cube, especially for the price. It is obviously pretty easy on the budget, and I'd say it gets the job done. I will say that the material seems a little bit cheap, but not to the point of being flimsy. That being said; mine did come with a small tear where the fabric has pulled free of the frame. I can fix it easily myself; so I didn't make a big deal of it. The "backdrops" that it comes with are rather difficult to keep free of wrinkles, and they are useless if they're wrinkled. Again, I don't mind ironing them before using them so it doesn't bother me. Overall; you get what you pay for, true; but if you're looking for an inexpensive, easy to use photo cube, I wouldn't turn your nose up at this one, because it's a handy-dandy little tool.

Works great! and it's BIG!
32"x32" doesn't sound that big, but it is. This is way bigger than I expected, but that's a good thing, since it just means it's a lot more versatile and I can fit more things into it than I had originally intended. I bought this to take photos of items I'd be selling online, and I have to say my items certainly stood out as being way more professional than many of the other listings. I can't be sure, but I'm fairly certain that caused my items to sell for more money than similar items with not-so-great photos from their phones or tablets. I set this up using three Canon/YN 600EX-RT speedlites (to the left, right, and behind), but it would probably be a lot easier to shoot with continuous lights for this type of pop-up light tent. Once you get the light adjusted, it doesn't get any easier. Just position your item, take a few snaps, and move on to the next item. It sets up super fast, and you'll have very high quality images as well. It pops out in seconds and folds back up to a very compact size that disguises just how large it is. The only thing I don't like, is I wish it included instructions. There are all sorts of velcro tabs and little hanging loops inside the box that I really have no idea what they're for. I know they're useful for something, just not exactly what. A few of them are for hanging the backdrops, that's easy enough to figure out, but there are multiple others that just seem a bit random. I'm guessing they could be used for suspending products such as jewelry or hanging additional backgrounds in the box, beyond what is supplied. Either way, this is a great value and I love it.

Excellent diffuse light box. Portable with carry bag and lightweight.
The light box is excellent. Of course light boxes depend upon excellent diffuse lighting from the exterior light sources. That said, your results will vary. The most convenient feature is the foldable form. If you’ve ever used a windshield shade for your car and had one that can be twisted into a figure eight flat disk shape, this will be similar to that. There is a front shield that blocks dark reflections and allow for the camera lens to peak through an opening. The pictures attached include my lighting setup - not included with the light box. Also, I’ve included pieces I photographed in the box to demonstrate the box performance.

Plan on making your own color backdrops
This is one of those purchases where half of what you get is five stars and the other half is one star. I'll start with the five star portion of this purchase, that being the light box itself. In a nutshell, it is terrific. It has excellent light diffusion properties and gives really nice gradients when using color gels. When fully expanded, objects up to 40cm in height can be comfortably photographed within the enclosure. When you're done with it, it easily collapses back to storage pouch size (25cm) in seconds. For those of you who experience difficulty getting it back to pouch size for storage, I suggest you watch the short YouTube video posted for this same product...it is as simple as a fold and a twist. For that matter, the YouTube instructions should work on any soft-sided light box that utilizes the same type of collapsible wire and fabric construction. All in all, I really like the versatility of the light box itself and how little space it takes to store. As to the color backdrop included for use with this light box, giving them one star is being generous. Each individual backdrop has sharp, deep machine-set creases that you cannot fully remove. I have spent hours carefully trying numerous crease removal methods and still have permanent visible crease lines remaining on each. As these backdrops are kinda sorta a critical component of making full use of the light box, I find these creases very disappointing, unacceptable, and definitely a manufacturing defect. If you don't care how the background looks in your photos, you will be fine using them out of the box. If you want a professional look to your photos, buy this knowing you will have to invest considerable time and effort to make the backgrounds even marginally useful. By way of comparison, think of taking a crisp new dollar bill, folding it in half, and ironing the crease. You then unfold it and iron it flat again. The end result is a flat dollar bill with a permanent visible crease line down the center where the fold was. That is exactly what you get with the included backdrops. Numerous other purchasers have noted the exact same problem in their reviews of this product. Way too much mechanical pressure is used to fold these fabric backdrops for packaging. If you want something ready to use out of the box and you don't care what your photographs look like then this is definitely for you. The deep set creases of which I write can be easily seen in the fifth listing photo for this item. They are permanently set into the synthetic fabric these color backdrops are made from. I have another three weeks before I need to decide whether or not to return this defective item for a refund. In order for me to get full use out of this item, I need to buy replacement backdrop material at the fabric store. If the cost to buy replacement backdrop fabric is minimal, I'll go that route and keep what is otherwise a very useful light box.
