Amazing sound depth!
The room I am using it in is my Master Bedroom, Measuring 20 by 15 and with some odd angles here and there. The TV Speakers were ok but never really that great. I connected this using the Included optical cable and.. .. WOW! It came right up, detected the input type, immediately connected to the sub and the sound is amazing! Whether I leave the TV Speakers on or off, this soundbar adds an amazing about of depth and range to the audio. The sub being wireless means I can move it around my room to achieve the desired audio quality. So far I've had no problems with it and cannot complain at all. Time will tell if it continues to be that way though.

Don’t judge a book by its scratched cover.
This is a used sound bar. It’s cheaper for a reason because it isn’t brand new. If you can get over the fact there will be ugly scratches and blemishes, the value is outstanding. I never knew how poor TV only speaker were until I got this sound bar. Very happy. If you don’t have RCA cables or a 3.5mm aux cable, you might want to order one. Digital, optical, usb, RCA, or aux are your 5 wired connection options.

Great Sound. Poor Design.
So most of these reviews are on-point. Except the people complaining about it not working. Just got a bad one or something. Here’s the bottom line....The sound. Is phenomenal for a $100ish bar and woofer. As someone else said, the depth. It’s something you’d hear on a much higher-end bar. So for that alone, it’s worth it.The issues. Again, totally worth it if you don’t mind putting up with the following:The remote/LED input. Who knows what it’s connected to? If you want to change sources, you literally have to remember what area of LED lights equal what device. I typically only use TV and BT, so it’s easy to remember bottom lights = BT, forth up = TV, etc. Again, once you learn it, it’s not a big deal... just another small annoyance that could be easily fixed. The Bluetooth. It pairs ok, but it doesn’t stay paired to my phone. Every time I want to use my phone/music app I have to forget device, hold BT sync on remote and then re-sync. It’s a first-world problem, but a real hassle. Should be much easier. Guess Apple products have us spoiled on how easy pairing should be. Trying to find instructions or a solution to this has been impossible, for me at least.Last, as others have mentioned, HDMI ARC. I’m today’s market that should be a common input on all sound bars. But, not a deal breaker by any chance. Optical works just fine.

Missing Parts. Wrong Remote.
Let me start by saying it sounds fine for what it is and the sound quality exceeds the price. The bad: Came with no cords or accessories other than two power cords and an incorrect remote. The remote does not work properly with the sound bar. You cannot change the input with the supplied remote. Pulling the product manual from the Vizio website, this isn't the remote for this sound bar, but a completely different sound bar. To understand why this upsets me so, I want you to understand that the remote for my previous sound bar stopped working and I had to walk across the room to change the input on the sound bar. I replaced the entire sound bar for this inconvenience (gave it to my son) and now I have a "new" sound bar with the same issue.Once I bought a new optical cable (my old one went with the old bar to my son's room), and buy wall mounts (which were missing as well, and if I find the correct model remote to go with this sound bar and order it, I will have saved almost no money over buying this brand new. Just more stress and more effort.I haven't determined yet if I'm going to suck it up and buy all the missing pieces or return it and go a different route.2 stars for the sound quality. 0 stars for the accessories.

Just spend $40 more and get a new one
So the sound bar sound good for the price. Bass is really strong. So now the list of all the things wrong. Renewed must be a euphemism for used, uncleaned, and stuffed into a box. When I opened the box it smelled like fecal matter. There as some random brown stuff on the sub, which I cant confirm what it was. Remote was sticky. There was no cables, except power cables. No instructions. There are no good videos to explain anything other than a basic setup. I'll be uploading one soon. Couldn't get the sub to pair, had to call vizio customer service. The audio optic port doesnt work. Just buy a new one.(Update)Stopped working

Serious bump for your buck!
I purchased this (refurbished) to pair with a refurbished 50" Vizio 4K TV. I didn't expect much out of it and initially saw the subwoofer as just an attempt to check one more box; meaning that yes, it had a subwoofer... and no, it didn't really do anything. I now stand corrected. I put this sound bar, along with the TV, and some new furniture, in our spare room so that we had a comfortable place to cuddle with our dog (he's not allowed in our bedroom). I placed the subwoofer under the daybed we purchased and placed the sound bar below the new-ish TV. THIS THING ROCKS!!! Obviously, it's no match for my Onkyo/Klipsch fanboy setup in the living room. However, I also didn't drop more than $2000 on it. I'm still amazed at how crisp movie dialog is with this. Dialog is crisp and clear, explosions and engines come to life with the subwoofer. Again, it's no match for my living room, but I will ABSOLUTELY start casting my music to it while I clean and do laundry. As an added bonus, my girlfriend keeps forgetting that there's a subwoofer because it's tucked neatly under the daybed. When we watch horror movies late at night, it makes her jump. For the price, I could not be happier.

Good sound, some bad decisions
I enjoy the sound and bass. I like that the bass sub wirelessly connects to the sound bar. However, some big negatives about this soundbar is that it doesn't have HDMI ARC input, which I'm coming to find out is super convenient to have, so that the TV's remote control can take control of the soundbar. Also, the input selection on this thing is a little annoying. Each input has a different LED, on a string of LEDs. And apparently Vizio expects that the one time my inputs get messed up that I'm supposed to just remember which dot is which. I've seen other soundbars that have a small LCD that show the name of the currently selected input device. Next time I'm in the market for a soundbar, I'll know to look for these things.
