Source Naturals GastricSoothe™ 120 Vegetarian Capsule

I have (had) an ulcer and it hurts (used to hurt). Badly. I was taking both prescription strength PPIs and H2 antagonists simultaneously, and I was still in constant pain, needing to eat every half-hour to reduce the agony. The prescriptions did help, but my ulcer was definitely not healing. So, I looked for supplemental relief. I tried Aloe vera gel, and it did help a bit, but I needed to take it often. It also tasted bad. That wasn't a big problem for me, but some people may not be able to stomach it. Then I found this, Source Naturals Gastric Soothe. I took 1 capsule 4 times a day with my other medications. The results were, for lack of a better word, miraculous. In 3 weeks the pain was so faint I could stop the H2 antagonist, and in a couple of more weeks, the pain was completely gone. After 6 weeks, I tried a mixed drink. They had used to double me over in pain, but now, no pain! I still take the PPI (for now) and rarely drink, as I don't want to push my luck, but the pain is totally gone. I don't have to eat every few minutes and have lost some weight. I sleep better, and generally enjoy my day a whole lot more. Other Thoughts: Gastric Soothe's only "active" (not the correct term for a supplement, I know) ingredient is Zinc L-Carnosine. I chose this brand because the others I saw added herbs or other minerals I was not keen on taking. From my experience with this supplement, you don't need any other ingredients. This works great by itself. I've read Zinc L-Carnosine increases production of natural mucus which protects the stomach from acid. On a side note, two supplements that definitely made my ulcer worse were histidine, a precusor to histamine, which among other things stimulates acid production in the stomach. The other was n-acetylcystine. (NAC) This supposedly has a side effect of decreasing mucus production, the exact opposite of Zinc l-Carnosine. Some prescription combination supplements also contain NAC. Both may have their uses, but ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking them if you have an ulcer. Really, one should ask his or her doctor about every supplement he or she takes, as we all know, and don't do. Also, don't treat chronic stomach pain, or any kind of pain, without a diagnosis from a doctor. In fact, if your doctor offers to treat it without investigation...find a new doctor. That's my two cents, sorry if I sounded like a smarty-pants. To sum it up, get Gastric Soothe if you have (been diagnosed with) an ulcer that just won't go away. You'll thank yourself.

Heartburn Relief In A Capsule!!! One Capsule has 8 mg of zinc. I take 2 every day but I space them apart......I also space them hours away from 2mg of copper. So, you get 16mg of zinc and 2mg of copper. Be sure to take them every day! The copper is a good supplement brand but is not the same brand as the zinc. I like Source Naturals - good stuff. Dr. BERG researching SCIATICA found info that copper helps sciatica. I'm using the zinc and copper together because you need both - just don't everdo it! 10 to 1 ratio is what I've read - 20mg zinc to 2mg copper. I'm going to have to eat something with a little bit of zinc so the ratio is right.

This is a great product and is very effective in combating a variety of issues from ASD to simply repairing the stomach mucosal lining. The only drawback is that you have to take 2 capsules twice a day to receive the recommended medicinal dosage.

Third time the bottle of Gastric Soothe was short a capsule or contained an empty capsule. Contracting the manufacturer o on their website to complain yielded no response at all. Not even a “we’ve received your message and will reply soon.” This product works very well, but I am not real happy with Source Naturals at the moment.

I absolutely love this supplement! I've had gastritis for the past three years, but this year's been the worst. I was having super bad stomach pains and I couldn't eat anything. Sleeping at night was nearly impossible because my stomach's acid level was super high and it's literally a parade in there or something! I was a zombie guys, a lifeless hungry zombie with constant stomach pains. Doctors prescribed me with taking famotidine and pantoprazole at night, but it honestly didn't work much. I also did not want to rely on heavy medicine long term! I started doing my research and found this product!!!!! I would take two every morning right before I eat breakfast (warm oatmeal with bananas) and two 30 minutes before I go to sleep. I did that for a month and my stomach was better! After about a month, I was able to eat normal foods again, but at the same time limit myself from acidic, spicy, and oily foods. Also!!! No drinking!!!! Definitely does not help repair the stomach lining. I still take this product when my stomach is acting up and it definitely still helps. BUT YEAH. THIS IS LITERALLY THE GREATEST THING EVER. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT FOR THOSE WITH GASTRITIS FOR SURE! I literally do not ever write reviews, but I had to for this one!!! Hope this product will help my fellow humanoids well!
