Q: Will this prevent knee slipping/ buckling?

YES IT KEEPS MY KNEE STRAIGHT AND TIGHT HAVE ONE FOR BOTH KNEES AS I HAVE ARTHRITIS IN BOTH KNEES AND I WHERE THEM WHEN I WALK ON MY TREADMILL AND CAN WALK AT 3.7 MPH AT A 2% INCLINE FOR 40 MINUTES NOW I ICE DOWN AFTER AND TAKE ADVIL PLUS I GET CORTISONE SHOTS ABOUT EVERY 6 MONTHS .

Q: I have some instability in my left knee, i was wondering if this would be a good brace for when i am doing my tae kwon do class?

I also have instability in my knee.I don't do tae kwon do,however I used my bionic knee for snow skiing and was very pleased .

I bought this knee brace for my left knee. The hinges are located on both sides, so it works for both knees

It's a wraparound, so you don't pull it on. I suggest measuring your thigh and calf. There's not much material to wrap. I wish I had bought a medium and not a small.
