I'll start with the excellent customer service part. After several months of use via the instructions, the cap stopped working. I emailed the company on their homepage under the tab "contact us". This was on a Sunday afternoon and the company's customer service is open only Monday-Friday. By 10:30am the next day (Monday) I had a phone call from "Greg" who gave me simple and complete instructions how to send back the product. He assured me that they would expedite the repair/replacement. Three days after I knew they had received the return (tracked it thru UPS), and again this was on a Sunday afternoon, I emailed them to ask about the status. I had a reply by noon the next day saying it was already shipped back to me and they included the tracking #. We received a brand new cap and battery pack along with a solid carrying case! (the case was not part of the original order:). Now for the second part of this review. My husband and myself have been using this laser cap since the middle of September 2019...I just wanted to be proactive and have stronger hair, my husband had quite a lot of thinning at the crown (balding). Seriously, after just a few weeks of use (say 3-4 wks), the new hair coming in was very noticeable at the crown and around the hairline for my husband. Today, it looks 80+ percent filled in and our hair stylist is all about recommending Regrow MD. And, to Regrow MD, since you obviously have a good product and may sell the company one day; hopefully, it won't be to an entity that would diminish it...too many people need the benefit of usage!

I guess those of us with hair loss will try anything. I tried this so you don't have to! First off, I have a larger than average head, so the gizmo never fit right. It always felt like a beanie that would fall off if I moved at all while wearing it. Second, it's flimsy; just paper-like circuit boards under the fabric cap that, even with the plastic mesh between them and my head, would shift and slide around just when putting the gizmo on and taking it off. Finally, after 18 months, half the "Lasers" in the cap stopped working. For the money they charge, I expected much higher quality. Third/lastly, it simply didn't do for me what I bought it for, which was to grown hair. I used it every other day for >18 months; it didn't appear to hurt, but it certainly didn't help. Zero noticeable hair growth. So I won't worry about half a head of hair due to the malfunctioning lights, as that won't happen. Just another expensive item to add to the landfill.

Haven’t had it long enough to address whether or not it works for hair regrowth. Excellent value from a known brand. This differs from the latest HairMax cap in that the interior is rigid plastic with minimal flex. It does however have a rubbery silicone liner with holes for each laser. Contrary to claims from a youtube blogger, the semi-rigid liner has caused me no problems with comfort whatsoever...if I had to wear it all day, every day, maybe...but for just 30 minutes a few times a week, no problems. Sometimes I even forget I have it on. Additionally, the lasers in the cap cycle on and off. In the latest cap at HairMax I believe there Is an option for constant on which shortens the treatment time. I have read that with constant on the lasers heat up over time which in turn diminishes output during use. So...maybe cycling is better? Not sure if this is correct. Anyhow, even cycling on and off it’s still only 30 minutes. Only issue, I have a big head, and it is tight, tight, tight. Wish they made an extra large. For the majority with normal size heads, and even slightly large, I highly recommend for fit, quality and comfort.

I like that this helmet is helping my hair come it. Only 2 problems I have with it - first the baseball cap doesn’t really fit over the laser helmet so it does not match the photo showing that it will only look like you are wearing a baseball hat - I can’t wear mine at all it just falls off or looks a bit like a bubble on my head, so don’t buy it for that reason. Also, there is a high pitched tone when you first turn it on and every 10 min while wearing it. The tone needs to be a quarter as loud as it is, my dog runs out of the room and goes under my bed shaking when she hears this high pitched LOUD tone the helmet makes. The tone is unnecessary and can be alarming to animals. So I now leave the room every 10 min before the tone sounds - it’s a hassle but I’ve gotten use to it. My hair is coming back in, but it did take about 4 months to see a difference, so I am happy to say if you are buying the product and don’t own a dog and dont care about concealing it under a baseball hat that doesn’t really work as a concealer - this is the helmet for you! It works and I am please with my hair growth.

My battery went dead after a few months. I called customer service and sent me a replacement battery. The customer service is very nice and helpful. He asked me how I charge my battery and i said I charge it right after using it and leave it there until the next use. He told me to plug the battery directly to the outlet and to charge it by itself, that there is no other appliances plugged next to it. I did that and it seems to be working.

The chord that you use to charge the battery does not work. I contacted them via email and explained the situation and they instructed me to call them. I called and explained the situation and they said they would send me the chord. Weeks later and they still had not sent me a working chord. So, I called again and explained that the battery would not charge and the chord did not work. They said they never saw where I had ever contacted them before but they would send me a chord. That was 3 weeks ago. Its been TWO months now since I first contacted them. Big take away - if this company will not send a $3 chord to replace the faulty one, how can they be trusted to honor their warranty on the $1100 helmet? Stay away from this company. They are looking like a fraud. I will have to send them a letter from an attorney to get any movement to likely get any money back for this product. Too many reputable companies with similar products. Stay away!

As a vain 75 year old, my hair is still the same colour but was definitely receding in places. However I have taken daily for 25+ years the worlds best vitamin supplements from the USA-my brother, 72, does not, and his hair shows why. Grey and very thin. I started the treatment 16 weeks ago, now 45 times, and certainly the hair in the baldish bits is regrowing. So yes, as it stands, would recommend.I do recall going to Belgravia Hair Clinic 30 years ago, and they tried to flog me their food standard vitamins, so dont fall into the trap of thinking any UK/ EU vitamin will help. But my USA ones + the Hairmax seem to make a big difference. So far, touch wood.

The red cap doesn't work . I paid so Rs 25000 for it. You don't check if it on or not. Ashok Salian
