What’s the difference between your tri magnesium and magenhance which has l-threonate complex, mag glycinate and mag-taurine. nice it’s made in uk:-)

Good afternoon, Many thanks for your interest in our Triple Magnesium Complex. Because we used fully reacted magnesium we guarantee no hidden magnesium oxide. As the product you mention doesn’t declare their magnesium as fully reacted, this could be because they are using magnesium as blends or buffers (which will contain magnesium as the poorly absorbed oxide form). We also believe in transparency and declare the elemental fraction of each of our magnesiums so that our consumers can make easy comparisons to other products who also declare the amount of elemental magnesium, which the product you mention fails to do. In addition I note the product only uses amino acids as carriers for their magnesium, and while this may seem beneficial, we prefer to use a combination of amino acids with magnesium citrate. By combining magnesium citrate salt with magnesium chelates (glycine and taurine) we actually target multiple uptake pathways for guaranteed uptake and retention. Magnesium ions from magnesium citrate target paracellular and transcellular routes of uptake, while glycine and taurine are absorbed via dipeptide channels and amino acid transporters. Why don’t you add malate to this complex????

Thank you for your question. Our main aim when developing Triple Magnesium Complex was to overcome the absorption issues linked with magnesium supplements. One of the ways we have done this is by providing only fully-reacted magnesium forms, meaning that the magnesium is chemically bound to its carriers and is able to truly benefit from the carrier’s increased absorption capabilities. The alternatives to fully reacted formulas are blends (magnesium oxide with added carriers that are not chemically bound) or buffers (fully reacted magnesium with added magnesium oxide to boost the label claim due to its high elemental magnesium content). The problem with magnesium oxide is that whilst it does have a high elemental magnesium content, it has very low bioavailability at just 4%, and therefore linked to digestive complaints. Not only does fully reacted ensure more absorbable magnesium forms, but they also ensure no magnesium oxide content. Magnesium malate is generally a composition of magnesium oxide and malic acid and whilst magnesium malate is often used to support fatigue and pain, the benefits are associated with the malic acid rather than the magnesium. Therefore, we did not consider it for inclusion in our formula. What is the magnesium mg of these tablets?

Thank you for your question. For clarity, each capsule contains 631mg of magnesium citrate, taurate and bisglycinate, with a total of 65mg elemental magnesium per capsule (the actual fraction that is magnesium, not bulk),. The reason we list both bulk and elemental is for clarity, as no form of magnesium is pure elemental, and different forms (citrate, taurate and bisglycinate) contain different amounts of elemental magnesium, with different absorption rates. This is why what can appear to be high dose magnesium, is not always very effective: commonly available magnesium oxide, for example, contains 60% elemental magnesium, but its bioavailability is only around 4%. In comparison, magnesium glycinate is only 18% elemental magnesium, but offers 80% bioavailability! Just looking at the elemental magnesium dose, therefore, is no indicator of what is actually absorbed in the body. It can be tricky to evaluate the nutritional panel on magnesium supplements. To add further confusion, magnesium oxide is often masked in supplements, since magnesium that is buffered or blended will contain magnesium oxide and a carrier, such as magnesium oxide and citric acid, labelled as magnesium citrate. Only fully reacted magnesium citrate, for example, will be free from magnesium oxide. We also advise split dosing magnesium, since studies confirm that the more magnesium you take at any one time, the less is absorbed. Therefore, you would benefit from taking capsules with lower amounts of magnesium as a split dose throughout the day, rather than in one large single dose. Finally, using one form of magnesium quickly saturates the one route of absorption it accesses. Using three forms of magnesium means that it has several routes of absorption to maximise the amount you absorb from the supplements. Effective and Clean

I’ve tried a lot of magnesium supplements, but this one is by far the best. The combination of glycinate, citrate, and taurate works wonders for different areas of my health—especially sleep and muscle relaxation. I’ve been taking it for a few weeks now, and I feel less stressed, more energized, and my muscles feel more relaxed after workouts. The tablets are easy to swallow, and I love that it’s vegan and free from any unnecessary additives. Plus, it doesn't upset my stomach like some other magnesium supplements I've tried. Keeps cramps at bay

One a day seems sufficient to avoid muscle cramps at night, even with occasional missed dose. Best taken with food I think, or at least not on an empty stomach in the morning.

Useful product but couldn't tell much difference...

I bought this item on recommendation from someone at the gym after moaning about suffering from DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) every time I complete a work and had been experiencing this for decade. Additionally, for reading the multiple positive reviews, i decided to buy it. I have just completed the whole bottle after 60 days and religiously took them AM and PM after eating something. Not expecting Miracles, however I couldn’t tell the difference. Nothing impact on my body or even elevate my mood. Only that my knee joints had got better since taking the tablets, but would I purchase again especially at that price, doubtful. Felt it was another vitamin gimmick. Going back human nature, continue with healthy food and maybe a massage once in a while.
