Okay the lock has ONE HUGE flaw. It does NOT supply you with the little screwdriver tool that you need to set it to your own number. However you can solve this buy going to the drugstore and buy the absolute smallest eye-glass repair kit in the store. In there is an extremely small phillips screwdriver and you will need this to stick in the end of it, push in and turn that thing 1/4 turn -- and then you can set your number ---- then, turn it back with the screwdriver and your lock is set. The lock should be closed from start to finish during this process. I hope this helps. HOWEVER, once you get it set it's genius, looks great and fits in a health club locker (LA F-ness) just great. You'll see it fast - because it's kind of large (about 2 inches long..)but that's good, you'll never lose it! I love the colors and the fact that I can lock and unlock my locker with one hand. Easy as pie.

We have struggled to find a lock that would work on one of our outside gates. Due to the traffic thru the gate, we needed a combination lock. Since people often go thru in the dark, we needed one that was readable with only a flashlight. Other locks were seizing due to the cold, wet winters. We've had no issues whatsoever with this lock. It isn't as secure as some of the others due to how the combination is set, but it is sufficient for us. The numbers do need to be lines up exactly for the lock to operate. There isn't the slop in this lock that you can find in other combination locks.

Easy to set if you have at tinsy, tiny screwdriver. (I don't recommend a paperclip unless you want to ruin the screw for future resets.) Almost as small as what you have to use for eyeglasses but not quite. Fortunately, I love tools, so of course, I had the set of tiny drivers. A screwdriver should be included since it's not a typical household item and I'm sure it can be made very cheaply without a handle. Just cut a piece of metal rod, sharpen on one end, bend the other end at 45-degree angle to use as a handle. And charge a couple of pennies more. So easy. Mine set perfectly. Can't attest to how long it will last. It says elsewhere not to use outdoors. I don't plan to. Happy colors. I like that.

Giving it 4 stars simply bc it was used 1 time and seemed a little glitchy. It was used for an event and slid over a pull down door handle so, thankfully, not a big issue that we couldn't get it to unlock. I have yet to work with it to see what the issue was. It's very sturdy though which is good.

I own an escape room - I use locks every day. This one was broken when recieved - combo can't be set. It's jammed on an unknown combo. Can't return bc I ordered it a while ago and saved it for this project. Now I need to rethink the puzzle to account for a different kind of lock. Total junk. Do not buy.

Very easy to set your own combination. Colored dials allow flexibility to set the combination either by color or number. It is also weatherproof. Glad they are back on the market.

My son, my boyfriend, his son, and I all of escape rooms. I use this walk to make opening Christmas presents more like an escape room puzzle. It was a huge hit! The kids were more interested in solving the lock/puzzle than what they were opening in the gift.

I have no idea how pick-proof is this lock (especially seeing a notch on the dial wheel). At least it can withstand shimming attack (the one when you slide piece of tincan metal to move the lock pin, the lock doesn't allow shackle to be locked without a proper code dialed). The metal looks and feels durable enough for low security usage (dial disks are made from plastic, just in case) This is my new favorite gym lock.

Needed a lock for the gym, I needed to be able to see the numbers and wanted it to stand out on the rows of bland lockers so I could find the right one. Thanks to Amazon I was able to find this , exactly what I wanted and for a fair price. Seems well made and is a good size, the large plastic numbers are easy to see and rotate well. What I don't understand and this is not exclusive to Amazon are some of the odd reviews. Why are all these people complaining about the difficulty in setting ones own code. Taking it out of the packet and without even looking at the instructions it was obvious. There is a screw on the side which as a position marked reset (there is the clue). You take a small screwdriver , push and turn to "reset", set the wheels to your own code and then turn the screw back to the original position. It could not be easier, a nice easy to use lock.
