Eva's Big Sleepover: A Branches Book (Owl Diaries #9)

My daughter absolutely loves this series. They are funny, silly and super easy to read. The story lines are engaging and age appropriate. I have struggled to find early chapter books that I felt ate age appropriate, but these are great. I’m sad she has read though the entire series because she couldn’t stop reading when she had a new one of these. I will buy more if they are released. Little sister, will sit and let big sister read to her some of these books. My daughter is 7, in first grade and homeschooled.

Such a great series first one I got for my 5 year old and we were laughing on the first chapter the little owl is sooo cute great tradition to start with your daughter at bedtime since there are so many books to continue on with

If you are having a hard time getting your child interested in reading, these are a great place to start. The book is fully and adorably illustrated; and is written with a mix of narrative and first person speech bubbles. There aren’t many words per page for a chapter book, so it really boosts the child’s sense of accomplishment to complete a chapter. The stories are simple for a k-2 to understand, and keep them engaged by focusing on relevant topics (school, friendships, parties). A perfect choice for newly independent readers.

My first grader loves the stories of Eva the Owl and her friends! The text in bubbles is short enough to not discourage young readers, yet challenging a little with new vocabulary. Stories are engaging to keep her interest. The plot makes her want to keep reading next and next chapter. I’d recommend these series!

Love these little books! The stories are just precious and the drawings are so adorable. It is perfect for my 1 year old baby girl.

My 9 year old loves this series.

My 9-year-old daughter can't wait to delve into the Owl Diaries when they are published. She devours them in one sitting and has even read some again and again. For a child that normally doesn't like to read, I love that she has found a series that shows her that reading can be fun and enjoyable. I would recommend this set of books to anyone with young children.

Aunque esta serie es un poco "girly" por los colores, el hecho de que el personaje principal sea femenino, y las aventuras que se relatan; mi hijo de 9 años ha leído los 10 libros de la serie pues le resultan historias divertidas y entretenidas y sólo espera a que salgan a la venta los nuevos títulos para leerlos de inmediato.

Petit livre très rigolo et toujours bien illustré. Parfait pour les enfants qui apprennent l'anglais. Ma fille de 9 ans qui était un peu réticente avec la langue, a totalement changé d'approche depuis la découverte de cette série. Elle traduit même des petites phrases à présent ! Les aventures d'Eva sont devenues incontournables chaque soir... Je recommande vivement!
