Your Start-up manual
There are many job markets affected by automation especially routine works and there are more requirements for hard earned knowledge and skills. If your nature of work directly impacted by Globalisation and Technology, you probably should read this book. The days of organisations hiring employees and training them are gone. The book is basically a manual to manoeuvre in the knowledge based economy. There are some good takeaways from the book. 1. We are born entrepreneurs. We are the founders of our life. 2. You have two types of assets. Hard and Soft Asset. Soft Assets is your knowledge, network and information. Hard Assets is your cash, stock and properties. In this age, you invest more in your soft assets then her asset. 3.Focus on the area where your aspiration, asset and Market meets. 4.Do ABZ Planning. Plan A is what is working for you. Plan B is where you want to be. Plan Z is your back up if everything goes south.' 5. Tap your Network and add value to your network. 6.Hustle and pursue opportunities. 7.Take short term risks which will increase long term stability. Overall has some sound ideas. It would been better if they laughed its as a blog series than book.
