GOLDEN SON: 2 (The Red Rising Trilogy, 2)

Nice quality paper and cover art. Epic sci-fi fantasy series. Fast paced. First book sets this up perfectly. Golden son follows it up equally well too.

I meaaaan it’s a bloodydamn book what do I even say. This was a rollercoaster ride.

The book came is almost perfect condition slightly bent on the right corner , can’t wait to read it !

Simply awesome. There is never a dull moment in this book. Right from the beginning till the very end there is lot of action. Lot of plot twists that will amaze a reader. As pointed out at several places, the storyline has lot of shades from Game of Thrones. I thought the first book to be very average, where lot of teenage kids kill each other for the sake of some games (very much similar to Hunger games), but in this one there is lot of mature action, politics and betrayals that makes it worth a read.

If u didn’t like red rising, give this book a try bcz the story is so much different. Everything that was promised in the first book is given to u and even more in the second book. And the ending is the best.

I love the book and it is in very good condition 👍👍 very well packed but i didn't got the book mark just sad for that but nicely packed...

Even though this novel can classify as a Sci-Fi, it's not Sci-fi enough for my liking, Futuristic Science is not the central theme in the novel, its more on the fantasy side rather than Sci-Fi. That's probably the reason that it will not be on the top end of the stories I have liked. But it still qualifies an above 4 rating for this part of the novel series. It had a lot of twists and turns.

Fantastic book!! massive step up from Red Rising.

I thought the first book was good, the Golden Sun is even better. Pierce's writing is amazing. I really loved the ending. Excited to read Morning Star next. I'm glad I started on the Trilogy.

Even better than the first one and the first book is a 10/10.

This is a fantastic sequel to Red Rising. It is completely compelling, full of drama twists and turns with a literal jaw dropping ending. Pierce's characterisation of Darrow is brilliant. He does not write him as a flawless hero but as a very human young man who is brave but feels fear, makes mistakes but who clings to a core belief that things should be better, that there is love and justice to fight for. I can't recommend this book enough, particularly the graphic audio version, you will be swept through a full spectrum of emotions. 5⭐ is not high enough.
