I have two down pillows that are expensive and I want them to last a long time. So I got a pair of these pillow protectors and they are perfect. They make a little sound like the rustling of silk while you are putting them on the pillows, then when you sleep on them they are completely quiet. I don't notice any sound! These are sized well for queen pillows and they fit equally well on a flat down pillow or a fluffy one! Very happy with this and would get them again. My main reason is sometimes I go to bed with slightly damp hair after an evening shower and these are waterproof so that is great! ~The Rebecca Review P.S. I threw up in my sleep and the down pillow was completely protected and nothing got through these protective pillowcases. One things however, wash them separately or in a lingerie bag because some of the strings or threads came loose and hooked onto my dryer vent deal and the sheet I was washing them with got tangled up and torn. Lesson learned!

It does keep the pillow dry, but it’s really noisy. Every time I move, it makes a loud crinkling sound, feels like I’m sleeping on a plastic bag. Not very comfortable for light sleepers. Works for protection, but not great for actual sleeping.

They don’t have a weird sound and make my pillows feel more high quality than they are! I didn’t get to hot sleeping on them and like how the zipper is so discreet. My husband is a welder and I go to bed with wet hair a lot and just needed something to protect my pillows better so they don’t get so gross so fast and these should do the trick!

Great bang for your buck! We purchased these for a vacation rental to be able to keep pillows clean and we wipe these down with a safe disinfectant after every guest then put on clean pillow cases. With Covid running rampant in this area, a little more assurance for our guests that we’re going above and beyond is appreciated and necessary. It appears to be water resistant but I didn’t pore water of them to check. :-) After wiping with disinfectant it doesn’t appear to leak through. I’d purchase again and most likely will with my pillows at home.
