5ive Star Gear 2.5 L Hydration System Water Bladder

This bladder is something i knew i'd have to order for the hiking backpack i also purchased. looked for the best deal and this seems to be it. i received it promptly and it appears to be good quality maybe even more than the picture suggests.

Since I've never owned one of these, I don't have anything to really compare it with, but I'd say it seems sturdy enough. The hose is well insulated and the bite valve is easy to use also. For the price, I don't think you can go wrong.

Leaks

The bladder is fine but it wasn't the same as the picture. The one I ordered was a blue color, not the army green color that I got. Like I said, the bladder is fine (kinda ugly) but I felt like the seller wasn't totally honest.

This thing is a godsend for hiking. It holds enough water you don't have to be as stingy with what you drink while on the trail. It fits perfectly into packs with the built in pouch for a water bladder. I'd never camp without it.

Nothing fancy but I does the job. Lasted four years in rugged field conditions and still is functional today.

I'm from Florida and jog in the summer. I used this water bladder during my jogging. It held up very well. No leaks and the insulation on the tube keep that water from getting hot. I plan to buy another for my hiking trips. I'll use the second one as a camp water carrier.
