Design of Hero pens is a continuous taper down to nib-tip. Very comfortable to hold at any length without extra pressure experienced in most other pens. Nib varies from Fine to Extra fine with good ink flow when filled fresh. One of the three pens in the set is rough and scratchy. Would order another to get a perfect set.
