How much maize / wheat does it have in it cos last time I checked dogs were dogs and not chickens and too much wheat can cause allergies etc etc?

It contains, amongst other ingredients, brewers yeast, beet pulp (sugar) grains all great for causing itchy skin

Does this have whole chicken or just chicken derivative?

Hi Sorry but our dog just didn’t get on with it think due to lack of chicken or meat smell to it. Can’t remember what the actual content was in it being honest but put it one way I didn’t see any meaty bits in it at all looked more like dried kibble bits. Hate it when you get items endorsed by people that love animals you as you tend to think yes it will go down great. Sadly not with our dog works out cheaper buying a whole chicken and putting rice with it as at least you know what your dogs eating then.

Is this gluten and wheat free

No-it’s bulked out with cheap grain. My dog had big problems with the food and has been on an alternative brand grain free ever since. He never had issues with any wheat/grains before eating this brand.

Is this ok for large breeds

This food is not been specifically designed for large breeds but is a suitable feed for all dogs
