MAKE UP FOR EVER Rouge Artist Natural Lipstick - N9 (MINI)

Purchased before, so knew I'd like the color (No.9) and will purchase again. It's moisturizing and stays put on my lips. This color is sort of a teaberry shade with a hint of copper.Gave 4 stars instead of 5 due to a packaging issue. Glued around the tube was a 2" x 2" barcode label that was impervious to being pulled or scraped off. To pop off the cap and get at the product, I had to slit the label around the circumference. This, of course, now left me with TWO seemingly welded on labels....one ea, on the cap and on the lower part of the tube. Ultimately, I just switched out the label covered tube top with the top from another used up lipstick (ironically, the one I was originally replacing) so all was good.(sexist comment here, sorry) I wonder if these labels are applied by someone who is not a lipstick user (a man?), so doesn't realize that the outer tube of a lipstick needs to be as pristine as the product inside. They may not realize that for however many months it lasts, that tube will be pulled in and out of purses, jeans pockets, make up bags, car consoles, sports bras, etc. dozens of times. And each time, whether the user is applying color at work, or at home, reflected in a car's rear view mirror or in its chrome bumper, having to look at an unremovable inventory label, that becomes dingier and nastier with each use, is disgusting and does not do your great product any favors.UPDATE: yay...the above packaging issue has been resolved. A subsequent purchase came with a pristine tube :)

The lipstick is a nice muted red, goes on easily and lasts longer than my other lipsticks. However, I didn't expect the product to be so miniscule. The price isn't warranted given the size. Individuals who only use lipstick occasionally may be willing to pay this price but for frequent, especially every day users its price is way out of line with similar lipsticks. Hence the 3 star rating

Very small. Would not buy this color again. Too brownish.

Love this product, just beware it does say "MINI" -- and when it arrives, it is just a sample tube you might get for free at a store -- it was my own fault though -- I should have paid more attention to how the ad was written.

Wish it was bigger, but I love the lipstick
