Woodpecker Sweet Apple Cider (24 x 500ml Cans)

It's been decades since I tasted this, it used to come in a brown glass bottle, but it's as nice as I remembered. Seems very hard to find in stores, I certainly haven't seen it where I am, so I've ordered a case twice now as it's so easy to drink. Not sickly sweet, just the right level of tartness there, great to drink with food too. Will be getting more.

Smooth tasting mild cider, only 3.5, but thats what I was after. Very hard to find this cider now. Now searching for Whitbread Pale Ale which has been revived.

Been looking for Woodpecker Cider for a long, long time and never thought to look on Amazon. Was really happy to find it online and looked forward to tasting it again, many decades after I last drank it. However, either my memory is not what it used to be or the taste of this drink has changed over the intervening years. It no longer tastes like a lovely sweet cider (the drink of my youth) and it tastes similar to other offerings on the market. I'm disappointed in this drink and won't be ordering it again, now that I have satisfied my craving for it - it's not what it was. The seller, however, was great - easy to order and fast delivery service.
