Perfect fit, no affect on flow rate
Fit perfectly on my vectra s2 return pump, tight fit and didn't need to add any glue or Teflon tape. Didn't affect flow rate at all.

Was too big for fish tank pump
Made of nice material for the value of money Was too big to fit on the end of tube for the fish tank pump. Had to return. And bought the 3/4 inch one. Seems to fit better Tho it slides off when the electric goes out Remember to slide it back on when electric comes back on. It does keep the snails and baby fish out of pump. Yayy

Fits 3/4" PVC
I needed something to put on the pvc pipe I used in the koi pond I built from a metal stock tank. I plumbed a piece of PVC to drain water from the top of the pond into a lower refugium and sump style tank filtration system. The pvc worked great, except that it made this kid slurping through a straw noise that was driving me crazy. This little cap broke enough of the surface tension that it doesn't make the noise and added bonus, it keeps random sludge from getting sucked through the pvc unnecessarily.

Using two of these for my main drain and emergency drain in my 56G column reef tank. Seem like good quality and would buy again.
