Excellent gift -- the pen comes in a nice black presentation box with a faux-velvet liner, which I did not expect. The pen itself has a good weight and balance, feels solid in the hand, and the color is rich and beautiful. The Energel ink cartridge can be replaced if needed, and the ink is smooth and dark. I like that the pen tip is twist-out rather than a button on top, so it doesn't make the clicking noise. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good quality pens.

I'm impressed with how smooth this pen writes, even with the .7 tip. I saw that some people left reviewsnstatujg that the .5 is smoother, so I was prepared to swap if needed, but I'm actually really happy with this one as is. The pen is great for what I paid (it was on a sale for about $11). It's much smoother than the various ball point pens I have and really glides nicely across the page. The pen feels solidly made as well and has a little bit of weight to it, but it's not at all heavy. Overall, I recommend this pen for someone looking for a smooth writing pen under the $20 mark.

This is a super stylish pencil! The tip extension is super smooth and is super satisfying. My only complaint is the grip, or the lack thereof. This pen is good for short writing but is miserable for anything longer.

Been using this pen for about a year at work without losing it. It really is a great pen. The metal frame is elegant and it feels great in the hand. It has good weight to it and looks stylish in a shirt pocket. In addition, the ink cartilages write extremely smooth and dry quick.

This is the perfect pen! I love the pearlescent sheen to it and it’s matte at the same time. It has great weight and balance which makes the writing experience very very smooth! Also interchangeable with Sarasa ink refills!

Silver looks white in photo but it is a good silver. Writes very smooth and has a good weight to it. I would definitely by it again but no need because you can just buy refills. It also kind of matches my watch. Update: I took it apart and accident dropped one of the pieces for like 3 feet up and the threading which for some reason is like the only plastic thing on the pen broke beyond repair.
