Bought this one cuz I was very happy with their hood for the RF 35mm f1.8. A little better quality than the 35mm, fits very nicely, stiffer material. Definitely recommend!

As a beginner, I wasn’t sure if I really needed a lens hood for my Canon R8, but I’m so glad I got this one! It fits perfectly, is easy to attach, and really helps reduce glare and lens flare. Simple, effective, and a great addition to my camera gear! Here are a few pictures I took with it attached.

Honestly, this should have come with the lens. The lens doesn't flare that much, but it's such a compact little 50mm (it has a tiny, dinky little 43mm lens cap) and adding the lens hood makes it aesthetically look a lot more proportional to a camera. Highly recommended.
