I just received the package...they are in great condition. There were three (3) that had some dirt or minor scratches. One had someone's initials in pen. I don't care--because it means the vendor didn't try to repaint the balls like others. For some reason, I play Pro V and Pro V1 so much better than other balls...I buy less expensive balls, all the good companies (Callaway, Titleist, TaylorMade, etc.) in the range of $24 a dozen and for whatever reason Pro V/V1 I rarely lose and they go much straighter. I don't have a super fast swing speed (it's got to be 90-100) and my handicap is about 12. I have found Pro V/V1 balls and played them, in all kinds of conditions, and they just play better. So the condition of these balls I received are on the higher end of "used" balls and I'm sure they will play just the same. I recommend this vendor. *Update* I'm not a great golfer...but played again today with a few different balls, and these used ProV1 performed the best. Straightest, farthest...geez, I don't know. It's not a confidence thing because if anything I'm more conscience of hitting an "expensive" ball. My recommendation is use what works for you, but if you want ProV1(x) don't buy new, buy these.
