This is a high quality umbrella. I bought the navy 10 ft after it was well-reviewed on Consumer Reports and it awesome! It provides plenty of shade. I tilt it in the morning to block the east sun and then tilt it flat for the middle of the day. It has seen some wind, but when we get strong winds I make sure it is closed. The base is filled with course sand and water. It's not easy to completely fill with sand. It is so heavy that it will never be moved from where it is now. I get a lot of "Wow, this umbrella is giant and so nice!" I've had it a full summer of hot Utah sun and it did not fade. It's easy to open and to turn.

These umbrellas are beautiful and great quality! I have purchased three over the last two years and they are a life saver over our pool. The still look brand new after two summers of use and make our pool area look like a five-star resort!

I love it. This is my 3rd umbrella over the years but none have been built as well as this one considering the price point. If I guessed at a cost I would have expected it to be a lot higher. Also, I had a couple of occasions to contact their cust. Support and they are every bit as good as their product. In two words, "I'm delighted". If there was a negative to it, it would be the zipper on the umbrella cover. It is too short. My prior 2 had longer zippers that made the cover easy to remove and put back on.

You have just discovered an OUTSTANDING, high end outdoor umbrella that covers a significant amount of space, 100 square feet. It was easy to assemble, but I did need help from another adult picking up the umbrella and placing it in the lower pole section, because it is HEAVY. This highly functional umbrella has a rotating feature that is a must for my usage situation, which is around our pool. You simply press the foot lever down and rotate the umbrella to where you want it. That’s it!!! If you don’t need to be able to rotate the umbrella, because once you set it up, you are not “chasing” the sun, or should I say “running” away from the sun, then you may not need the rotating feature, which significantly increases the price point of any umbrella.
