You’ve been looking at them, just buy them. Their worth it.
Love these things! We have a one year old one in the house who is getting more exploratory everyday. Doors, cabinets, drawers, boxes and more are all fair play. We bought these for the kitchen cause we just got new cabinet and these didn’t use screws. We hated the idea of marring up our new cabinets by installing the screw type locks on the back of doors, or having the through the handle versions scratching the front . Ironically, I just installed the screw in type on our bathroom cabinets and really wish I had used these. Install for these puppies took seconds, needed no tools and I didn’t even have to get on the floor. Hell, I barely had to bend down. A huge contrast to the other type where I used two drills, drill bits, a screw driver and had to lay on the bathroom floor for the better part of 20mins. Something I haven’t done since college. Also, love the extra magnet base for mounting the key somewhere. We just installed in under one of the upper cabinets for easy access and the hopes we will remember to but it back there. In fact that’s the only thing I’m concerned about with this set, losing the key. Good news is the kit comes with 2 and extras are available for realitiviely cheap. The sticker backing is pre-installed on all the parts but the kit came with extras just in case. The backing looks and installs very similar to 3m command strips if your familiar with those. They might even be 3m strips. If they hold up the same as command strips I’ll be more than happy and will work in all but the most humid environments (think sauna not Florida weather), and if your cabinet is that humid you’ve got other issues.Bottom line: Buy them!

I wanted to leave a 1 star so because that's what everyone reads BUT!
I usually don't leave reviews unless a product is really good or really bad. First and foremost, I love the locks. They are easy to install. They don't require any drilling, and I love the fact you can't see them. The instructions are clear and helpful. The alignment tool really makes it all go smoothly. One thing that is not in the instructions that I recommend is: after aligning the lock and before you really stick the pads, close the door and test the lock. You will hear it lock. When you pull the door and feel it catch, make sure you can use the key to unlock it. Once you're done testing then really stick the pad. The locks are pretty precise and I wasted a few of the extra pads because I didn't test the lock first. They supply a generous amount of extra sticky pads for both the locks and catches. The locks are strong and pretty durable. I read some of the reviews about the locks coming off pretty easy. However, mine work like a charm. I'm a fairly large man and I had to put some oof into breaking the locks off. My 13 month old son is almost 30lbs and he could not get them off no matter how much he tried. Maybe they got some bad sticky pads, maybe they didn't adhere it well enough, maybe they didn't have enough surface area for the pad, or possibly they have really really strong babies. However, if reading the "these aren't strong enough" reviews are making you hesitate, I wouldn't listen to them. I'm glad I didn't.The only thing I dont like is the stickers. I wish they had a selection of colors that were more subtle then white. We have dark cabinets and we decided not to place the location stickers on the outside because they would be unsightly. Just offering black, brown, tan, and white I think would be sufficient. Anything just to make them more subtle, where you can see them if you're looking but won't notice at first glance. I'd also recommend adding a few extra pads for the keys. We aren't sure where to place them and we know we will move them once we get use to the locks. We didn't want to lose the base so we ended up sticking them.

Fantastic, invisible, strong toddler protection!
We've had these locks installed for a few months now, and they're fantastic. The adhesive is actually pretty impressively strong, so no worries about little ones pulling the cabinets open (or big ones thinking they just need to 'pull harder' to open the cabinet - it's *very clear* there's something holding it closed). My 22lb daughter was trying to pull one of the cabinets open with all she could give it (she was impatient for dinner), one hand on the handle and her whole body leaning as far away as she could to give it good leverage, but the lock didn't budge. We love that they're invisible - we (and guests) don't see them at all on the cabinets, but more importantly my *daughter* doesn't see them and therefore doesn't know when they're locked or not - we can leave the kitchen cabinets unlocked most of the time and she'll just run through and not even seem to think about opening the cabinets, but when she gets curious, it's just a flick of each switch and all the cabinets are secure, and she can pull on them all she wants. We initially had a few external slide-latch type locks, which are also secure, but very visible (and ugly). One lock came apart briefly and I lost the tiny magnet inside, but I contacted Customer Service and they immediately sent a replacement - excellent service! Two suggestions/hints for purchasers:1) make sure you install them all in the same position on each cabinet (same distance from the end) so you don't have to move the key around to find the 'sweet spot' (it's pretty powerful, but if the locks are all in slightly different places you sometimes have to move the key around to find it) - someone else helped me install some of them, and didn't think about putting them all in the same position on each cabinet - it's mildly annoying, but definitely not enough to redo them all :)2) if you drop one of the keys, it will probably pop open - the orientation of the magnet is important, so make sure you test it with one of the locks before snapping it back together, otherwise it just won't work...
