It does not state the ratio. It states Calcium AKG 1,000 mg on the bottle.

Does this also act, at least in part, as a traditional calcium supplement (such as calcium citrate) or is calcium akg a totally different thing?

Yes, the calcium component is available as calcium as for any other source. Google for the percentage - think it's 19% by weight. What surprises me most in reading the comments here is that people are taking this as a calcium supplement, and appear totally unaware of what they're getting (paying for!) with the AKG.
