Our 22-year-old Red-Eared Slider has been eating these regularly for about a year, and we’ve seen a noticeable improvement in her shell health since switching to this food. She lives outdoors during the summer and spends winters in my office, and we feed this to her year-round. She eats it eagerly and has had no issues transitioning or digesting it. What stood out to me is how much healthier her shell looks compared to before — smoother and stronger with consistent feeding. Pros: • Turtle eats it readily • Noticeable shell health improvement over time • Works well for both indoor and outdoor setups Cons: • None so far after a year of use If you have an adult Red-Eared Slider and are looking for a reliable, long-term staple food, this has worked very well for us.

I got these for my adult red-eared slider. I was hesitant at first since I was switching her off of her usual Reptomin or Zoo-Med but to my surprised she ate these pellets up perfectly fine. I don't know if "pellet" is the correct term for this brand of turtle food. The food appears to be more like long chunks, with some chunks being huge, making it really hard to bite and consume. Besides that, these don't seem to dirty up the water any faster than competitor brands, and my turtle eats them perfectly fine. I do notice, however, that these don't stink up the water as much as other brands, especially Repto-Min. Overall, these would get a solid 5 stars if it was all a consistent, easy-to-consume size rather than having such variability in size.

My turtles absolutely HATE this food they won’t even touch it!! And i used the last of my money buying this and now my turtles are going hungry till i can get money to buy the BEST KIND THEY LOVE! Good thing for earth worms i go out to dig up worms to feed my turtles cause the food i bought is just disgusting!! DON’T BUY THIS FOOD, TURTLES WILL NOT EAT THIS!!!
