This has drastically improved my neck pain. I've only been using it for a short time. My husband insisted I get one after it helped his neck pain. It takes time but definitely worth it.

I have spent a fortune on a number of ergonomic pillows - over the past years. They all failed the test for me. My pocket was a bit sad, on what I had spent. The search ended however, when I discovered this Sutera pillow. For me it is the perfect height, perfect memory foam bounce-back and great for side, back, or front sleeping. It is sooo cosy and gives me a very cosy sleep!!! I use it with a pillow case on it, although it comes in it's own removable and washable, soft pillow case. It arrived with zero toxic smells!!! I opened it out, let it breath and let it find it's size (after being wrapped up). The next night I began using it and have never looked back!!! I comes in a lovely little bag that can be used as a carrying case. It is not easy to re-roll and put back in its bag - but it can be done with two people doing it - if you decided you wanted to take it along, if you were traveling. It is defiantly not designed as a travel pillow though - meaning it is not a travel pillow size. It is a very good home-bed size. I use mine on our queen bed.

It took me a few nights to adjust to this pillow but i love it now. The Sutera pillow great for side sleeping. This pillow supports my head and shoulders. Some nights I feel like I don't move at all once I fall asleep! I have chronic neck and shoulder pain- while this pillow didn't completely remove my pain I do think it's helping me sleep better and wake up without much pain. I ordered a similar pillow from Ornatera and strongly encourage you to buy this one instead! Don't buy from the company Ornatera. Ornatera is a scam, their pillow is really firm and uncomfortable and it's impossible to return anything to them. When I emailed to ask for a return they offered 20% refund to keep the pillow, I kept pushing back, eventually they offered a 50% refund to keep the pillow. They kept saying to return the pillow would be at my shipping expense which could be $20 or more. Their website says 30 day risk free trial, but that's not true. So I'll take my 50% refund and donate their stiff pillow somewhere. Buy the Sutera pillow! It's a great product and since it's through Amazon you know the return would be easy if you don't like the pillow.

EDIT/UPDATE AFTER THREE MORE MONTHS WITH THIS PILLOW: Like I mentioned before, I’ve got cervical lordosis, and one of the main symptoms I experience from this problem is numbness throughout my head, face and arms. This pillow, like I said before, helped tremendously with the pain, but nothing for the numbness. My chiropractor (who also suggested this pillow to me) has told me to lay on a rolled towel for 15 minutes a day to help reshape my neck and that always brought some relief but it wasn’t lasting. Well one day the numbness was so bad I decided to sleep on a rolled towel. While I woke with some neck pain and stiffness (surely because I don’t remain in the same position throughout the night), the numbness was almost non-existent. I’ve been sleeping on a rolled towel ever since. So the search for the perfect pillow continues for me. I really think the Sutera pillow elevated my neck into a strange position. While not painful, it became rather uncomfortable, and obviously wasn’t helping my lordosis as far as the pinched nerves are concerned. Take that as you will! </EDIT> This pillow has brought me so much relief. I have cervical lordosis and couldn’t move my neck in any direction any more than a couple inches without experiencing pain every morning. Some mornings I would wake up and feel like someone replaced my neck and spine with a metal rod overnight. This pillow did not bring immediate relief but after a few weeks of sleeping on it, my neck pain is almost gone and my range of motion has improved ten-fold. But while the pillow has changed my life, it is not perfect! Side-sleeping with this pillow is uncomfortable and actually causes more pain. It pushes my head up into an angle and offers little give. While this pillow is incredible at supporting the neck during back sleeping, and I no longer feel pain while sleeping in that position, it pushes my head up so that my chin is slightly downward. I’m not sure if this is the manufacturer’s intent and it doesn’t seem to be bothering me, but it feels a little unnatural. But again, the pillow has dramatically improved my quality of life. I’m grateful for the design, even if it took a while to get used to sleeping in the same position every night. That may have been part of my problem all these years, i do not know. But I have paid even more for other “cervical support” pillows in the past and never got results as great as these.

I saw multiple reviews and ads for this pillow with glowing reports of how it saved people from lifelong neck pain… Well, didn’t work for me, my bestie or my two daughters who also suffer from neck issues. We all slept on it for a couple of nights each, trying to really LOVE it. You know, like the women in the videos who throw it down on the bed like it’s Aquaman, or whoever you fantasize about, and they are about to get the best night of their lives! Not so. It’s nothing like the ads. First off, it’s not anywhere near as fluffy as advertised. The arm recessed areas are difficult to position yourself in to be at all comfortable. The neck alcove is basically like an old school bicycle ramp that you made with a piece of flimsy cardboard and a brick that you found behind your granny’s house and provides zero support. You might think, well, maybe we are not the right size?? Too big for it? Crushing it? Not even close. We all range in size from 95-140 pounds, 5’2-5’7 and ages 15-45. We are a wide range of pillow lovers that should have been able to enjoy this pillow somewhat, especially for the cost. Now, it’s been sitting in the bag in my laundry room waiting to be returned for three weeks and I missed the return window by a week. My bad. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money like I did. Just wait for them to be discounted at Ross and get it for $12.99. Happy pillow shopping!!!
