Great Lightweight Battery – Perfect for Portable Ham Radio Use!
I purchased the ZapLitho 12V 22Ah LiFePO4 Battery to power my Yaesu FT-891 in a custom radio box setup, and I was impressed with its performance. The battery delivered consistent power and was able to supply enough continuous current (~21A) to support 100W transmit with the 891. It handled the load without issue, even during extended transmit sessions. Ultimately, I decided to return it—not because of any fault with the product, but because I realized I needed a larger capacity battery to support longer weekend operations without recharging. That said, this battery would be a solid choice for lighter or shorter-duration setups, or for operators who don't mind recharging between sessions. If you’re building a compact, portable ham radio station or powering devices like a fish finder, scooter, or solar setup, this battery is well worth considering. 🔋 Key Features: 12V 22Ah capacity using Grade A LiFePO4 cells Built-in 25A BMS (Battery Management System) for safety and performance Lightweight and compact—great for portable and mobile setups Deep-cycle capable with long life expectancy Perfect for ham radio, camping, solar, Power Wheels, and more ⚠️ Disclaimer: This review is based on my personal experience and provided for informational purposes only. Good battery for smaller projects.
This battery is fantastic. I used it to make a portable USB charging station and power USB light bulbs. It ran 2 of my USB light bulbs for 84 hours. I built the charger in the housing to make it more portable. This thing works well. Fantastic battery. I will be buying more of these

Has a charge indicator which is a lithium must
The biggest issue with lithium batteries is unless it comes with its own built in charge indicator, you can damage your lithium batteries by overcharging. This battery has its own built in which has allowed me to store it properly for many years of service to come. The battery doesnt do anything unique or spectacular and the value is adequate. Does exactly what i need and nothing more. Definitely recommend.

Fits Ghost Controls gate opener battery box. Great battery
Bought this to upgrade my ghost controls dual swing out gate opener. The battery box I bought from them fit two crappy batteries it came with.(7ah each) Knocked the tray out of the box that divides them and this battery fits snug. I was expecting to have to charge it every week because it’s in a gulley and solar is piss poor in the location that’s shaded all day in the winter. Just went 20 days and am finally recharging it now. Pretty impressed. Will update my review if anything goes south but I am extremely impressed with it right now

Totally worth it
I replaced the internal battery of my jump box and it made it so much lighter. Great battery!!!

For the difference in price over conventional batteries this was well worth it so far !
Holds charge 2 times the amount and at the good price . Also, at 1/4 the weight as conventional batteries the same size ! This was a win win for me so far !

Solid batteries
I haven't really stress tested these or measured their full capacity. But they have worked great for what I'm doing. As an EE, I thought it was a waste of BOM to have a voltmeter built into every battery, but it has turned out to be incredibly convenient while I slowly build out my off-grid system--constantly making changes and swapping things around, equalizing batteries, etc. If I had known exactly what I needed ahead of time, it would have been a much better investment to get 100AH batteries and keeping them at 70% max (which doubles the cycles and is definitely worth the money long term), but I ended up buying several of these and I don't regret having them around personally because I like to stay away from EMF and batteries are just the thing for that.

Outstanding!!!!
I'm amazed, I can't believe how light this battery is. Love the voltage and charge indicator on the battery. Fits perfectly in the battery box of my Kayak. I am using it to power my fishfinder chartplotter. The lightweight is perfect for the Kayak. Class A cells and the build quality are impressive for the Price. I will probably be buying another.

I got this 6Ah battery to replace an old, tired lead-acid battery in my small portable solar setup that I use for charging phones and running a few lights when we're camping. The old battery was heavy and never seemed to hold a charge for long, so I wanted something lighter and more reliable. This lithium battery is a huge upgrade. The first thing I noticed is the weight. It’s incredibly light compared to the old lead-acid brick it replaced. I can toss it in my backpack without even noticing it’s there. I hooked it up to my solar panel, and it charges up quickly and holds that charge like a champ. I ran my camp lights and charged our family's phones for two straight evenings, and the battery still showed it had plenty of juice left. The big selling point for me is the long life. The old battery would get drained and struggle to come back. This one is rated for thousands of cycles, so I expect it to last for many years of camping trips. It also has a built-in management system, so I don't have to worry about overcharging it or draining it too low, which is a nice peace of mind. All in all, this is a solid, powerful little battery. It’s perfect for smaller applications like a solar generator, a fish finder, or an alarm system where you need reliable, long-lasting power without the weight. It’s a bit more of an investment upfront, but the performance and lifespan make it well worth it.

If you are in the market for a small 12V battery that won't empty your wallet this is a good choice. While a 6aH battery is not the largest capacity it is a great option as a compact battery to be charged by solar for powering LED lighting for a shed or a small enclosed trailer, without taking up much space. I tested this battery on a winter trip to my off grid property and it performed well powering a small 12V pump as well as running some LED lights in my storage trailer. The BMS temperature cut off worked properly as I needed to warm the battery inside the cabin before I could charge it again, this is properly designed. I have another similar battery that cost the same and it does not support low temp cut off so bonus points for including this. I did not measure the capacity, but overall it seemed on par with a similar 6aH LifeP04 battery I own. This seems like a reasonable buy if you need a cheap and compact battery.

I like this generic-looking LiFePO4 battery. Build quality is decent - the plastics don't feel cheap and the colour-coded tab-terminals are moulded (with what looks like shiny epoxy) solidly into the case. These tab-terminals don't feel flimsy or cheap, either - they can definitely stand up to some abuse when pushing on female spade connectors. It is difficult to accurately gauge the watt-hour or amp-hour ratings of these outside of a lab environment but I have many, many years of experience with UPS batteries and electronics in general and can say without question that these batteries are a next-level step in power storage evolution. Traditionally, lead acid batteries could be gauged somewhat on weight so it is off-putting (to say the least) when you pick up a LiFePO4 battery. They are insanely light in comparison. In all my testing this battery just seem to keep going and going with only the slightest drop in voltage (starting at about 13.5V at full charge) even under heavy current draw. The battery was partially charged when I received it and read 13.12V out of the box. Only time will tell if these live up the claimed thousands of recharge cycles, but for power storage and output performance I'm already convinced. You should think about getting a good quality 12V charger that is designed specifically with a mode to charge and properly monitor LiFePO4 batteries if you don't already have one. Recommended!

This LiFePO4 battery is a fantastic portable power solution. It is surprisingly lightweight and has a nice, compact size that fits easily in the palm of a hand, making it ideal for camping trips or fish finders. I found it very easy to charge, and it holds its charge well for standby use. With a 6Ah capacity and built-in BMS for safety, it is a trustworthy option for emergency backup power for small electronics or alarm systems. It offers great performance in a small package.

Small and lightweight, this is a great backup power source for a variety of uses. Decent price point at around $60, I do wish it had a battery life gauge, even something simple like 4 bars.
