Great isolation, great sound quality.
I rarely write product reviews on Amazon but I need to give a big thumbs up to these. I work in film music and often need to listen to the output of offline computers in very loud environments. These are fabulous and have seem of the best acoustic isolation I've come across. Sound, whilst not as great as some open-backed designs is very good. Build quality and feel also great. Slightly tight on the head but that only helps isolation in my book. Recommended.

Excellent upgrade – comfortable and great sound
The Vic Firth SIH3 Isolation Headphones are a very solid upgrade over the previous generation. The updated design makes a big difference in comfort — they no longer clamp too tightly on the head, which makes them much better for long practice sessions. Sound quality is very good, clear and well balanced, while still providing excellent isolation. Compared to the second generation, the listening experience feels more natural and less fatiguing. Overall, this is a well-designed and worthwhile update. Improved comfort, great sound, and strong isolation make these headphones well worth buying. Highly recommended.

Headphones
These headphones are great. They are very good for the value of the money spent and the comfort is exceptional.

Build quality not great, but sound and isolation is fantastic.
They broke within a month, the plastic connection that attaches to the metal section snapped. Other than that the noise deadening and sound quality is great, just let down with the material quality. Amazon has shipped a replacement, hopefully these will last.

Utilisation sur batterie électronique et acoustique. Fonctionne nickel, le son est plutôt bien. L'aspect protection auditive est très bonne également.

Use them for DJing to protect my ears

Sound isolation: Actually really good at what they advertise, IMO. I bought those so I could take them to work and not have to listen to my coworker a cubicle over loudly crunching on nuts the whole day. It's definitely effective - I don't notice the nut crunching anymore. I also don't notice coworkers stopping by my cubicle anymore because I can't hear them approaching, but eh I'm OK with that tradeoff. Audio quality seems pretty good to me. Definitely better than the open ear open back headphones I got from Phillips a while ago for a similar price. It's probably just the sound muffling, but the music/sound is more immersive than my previous solution. Size: Surprisingly, it just about fits on my big ol head, which is probably bigger than 95% of the general population. It clamps on pretty tight, but it hasn't felt uncomfortable just yet. Coord: The audio cord is built in. Thankfully it seems to be a fairly sturdy cord, which seems to be just the right length for me to move about my cubicle but also not tangled under my chair or something. So if you specifically need a short or rather long cable this may not work, but it should be fine for the majority of usecases
