This is not worth the time. It's cheap and maybe that's why I tried it but not even moving the numbers jump around and that buzzing noise is horrific ear piercing and there is just one volume. It is easy to set up but the only reason I didn't return it is because now I have holes in my bumper and I'll just leave the sensors I guess but it was a very bad purchase.

A good upgrade to any vehicle without factory fitted reverse parking distance facilities. Easy enough to fit and connect to reverse light. Colour was a close match to bumper shade so looks like it was always part of the vehicle. The circular saw makes cutting the holes a breeze. I did find, however, that the sensor fit was not very tight - easily remedied using a thin bead of sealer to secure the sensors though. The display/buzzer unit has two settings - as well as off - for its beeping but both are rather loud if the unit is placed in the open at the front of the vehicle. Leaving it secured close to the control box in the boot (trunk) subdues the sound which makes it a useful, rather than annoying, and simplifies the installation. Measurement warning is very accurate. Highly recommended and surprising value for money. A good safety addition.

I installed this in my 1979 Camaro after a close call that caught me off guard. In 10 years of driving, I’ve never hit anything while reversing—but the visibility in this car is tough, and I didn’t see a parked trailer until it was too late. Right after that, I started looking online for an easy-to-install backup camera and came across these sensors instead. They were a great find. The system complements a camera well and adds an extra layer of safety, especially in older vehicles. While not as precise as factory sensors, they’re definitely more helpful than relying on a camera alone. I do wish it came with a printed instruction booklet—videos helped, but they’re hard to follow outside in the sun. I also used tape on the bumper before drilling to help avoid paint chips, but the sensor trim covers small marks anyway. If you're doing a camera install too, it's smart to run the wires for both at the same time.

There is no audible beep or buzz. I have installed the same or similar sensors on three vehicles, so I think this particular unit is defective. No written instructions came with this unit and the printing on the box was in Spanish. Since I had installed these before, it wasn't a problem. The unit lights up when the vehicle is in reverse, so I know it's wired right. Don't expect to install the sensors in a steel bumper with the drill bit supplied in the kit. Works good in plastic bumper covers, though. WHEN I GOT THE 2cnd UNIT I NOTICED A 3-POSITION SWITCH ON TOP. IT CHANGES THE BEEP VOLUME FROM HIGH TO LOW TO OFF!
