These earplugs are dangerous. The tiny nub to pull them out is way to short. They're difficult to pull out when placed in normally. I used these at a music festival and one night i guess i tried to itch my ear while sleeping, when i woke up this earplug was so deep my friend could barely get it out with tweezers

Bought these for camping because the wind outside of my tent keeps me awake. They do have a tendency to fall out while I'm sleeping, but I only need them to fall asleep, not to stay asleep. They are nice and soft and go in deep, blocking out more sound than I expected.

These are a very solid choice for earplugs if you need something to help block out the noise at night for sleeping. The earplugs create a good seal, and the noise-blocking capability is very apparent. However, the claim that the earplugs can block up to 35db of noise is quite dubious. Before using these earplugs, I used some foam earplugs from a reputable brand that worked very well, and those were rated for 32db. I would say that the amount of noise that these triple-flange earplugs block out is close but not quite to the amount of noise that the foam ones were able to block. Furthermore, another issue I had with these is that the advertising says that the earplugs use a “noise-reduction gel core”, but the noise filter core is actually just hard plastic and makes for some uncomfortable side-sleeping. I ended up removing the filters and found no difference in the noise-blocking abilities of these earplugs. Also, the pictures on Amazon show that these earplugs have a metal disc that also acts as part of the filter, but this metal piece was nowhere to be found in the sets of earplugs that I got. After I removed the plastic cores, there was nothing underneath, and the rest of the earplug is just the silicone part. All in all, the earplugs still work great even without the filters, and I highly recommend these for people who need good reusable earplugs that are side-sleeper friendly for blocking out the noise at night.
