Well built, Solid, Right out of box everything is pretty much ready to go. There are a few pizza ovens on the market all have some great features but overall we found this one to have everything that we wanted including the cool to the touch outside of the unit. If you have cooked on a Stainless version of a pizza oven and accidentally touched the outside you know exactly what I am talking about!! OUCH! It really did not take us long to get the hang of using this oven and boy does it make great pizza! We have been using this for almost a year and have made it a big part of our routine to eat home cooked meals, having the ability to make high quality Pizza really makes the difference, The taste of a fresh pizza is Night and day from take out while being far better for you as you control all the ingredients. We've used several Pizza ovens from electric (not for us) to gas and really have found this oven to hit all the marks. Quality Build all parts are well made, Solid and durable, easy to clean up. We did not buy the wood attachment for the burner however we did purchase a small wood pellet metal box for BBQ's / Ovens so when we feel like a smoked flavor its as simple as put the box in the oven with the wood or pellet of your choice and you get fantastic results!!

The product is excellent. It makes wonderful pizzas very quickly, and they are quite different than trying to make them in your oven at home. The packaging was excellent as well so as to avoid damage during shipment. I am, however, quite disappointed in one thing. The purchase price was $699 on Amazon. Three weeks later it is now on for a regular price of $549. It is not a sale price. I’m not sure of the reason for the price drop, perhaps just bad timing but even though it makes great pizza, I have a bad taste in my mouth.

No assembly other than hook up the propane fire to the bottom of the unit. Gozney's website has a plethora of info to get you cooking great pizza in no time. The oven is a bit heavier than I had thought it would be but it's well insulated so the wind doesn't affect the cooking temperature. It takes about one hour for the oven to heat up to 500 degrees celsius. (900F for ya all south of the border) I ordered a few of the extra tools needed for optimal cooking. I'm sure you can find cheaper ones that the Gozney branded items but the quality of the oven is such that I have no problem with paying a little extra for higher quality tools to go with it. the Pizza turning peel is a must have to quickly turn the pizza in the oven with out burning your fingers trying to use the peel that comes with the oven, keep that one for inserting and removing the pizza in the oven. My only complaint is I'm going to put on a lot of weight from eating too much pizza, but can you eat too much pizza?? I don't think that's possible.

It's not really portable. You could perhaps use it at a tailgate if you have a truck... but it would be a hassle. With that out of the way... It's great. We've tried the (regular) oven. Pizza stones. Even the grill. This makes better pizza faster and more easily. It has taken a bit of practice to settle on a dough recipe and technique... but we are very happy with the purchase. The kids say it's "almost as good as (their favorite authentic Italian pizza restaurant)." Which is fairly high praise. I do wish the pizza stone was possible to change if we (somehow) were to break it. I figure I'd drill out the rivets and replace it... but I don't suspect many people would want to do that.
