I wear these under my socks when I go hiking, and I’ve noticed my feet are much less sore after long hikes. The quality is strong. I just toss them in the wash and dryer with the rest of my hiking gear, and they hold up beautifully. They’re very comfortable to wear (I forget I have them on), and I love that they don’t take up much space in my drawer. The fit is snug, so I’d recommend sizing up if you’re between sizes. The fact that they come in different colors and patterns is a nice bonus. The price is more than fair for the quality and support they provide, and shipping was fast with secure packaging. They’ve made a noticeable difference for my hiking and workouts. I’d highly recommend these to anyone who spends long hours on their feet.

So a little over 3 weeks ago I took a bad fall off of the top step going from my house to my garage landed on my back but some how I twisted my left foot so bad I thought I broke it. It swelled up and after two weeks the top of my foot still hurt so bad before I went to the doctor I saw this brace and thought what have I got to loose so I bought this brace. I know they are tight fitting so I went with a XXL and started wearing it and to my surprise after a few days my foot was feeling better after a week I was like this can't be true I still have pain but nothing like I did so I wear it all day and take it off about 8pm and I can feel the difference in my foot from wearing it to removing it this brace saved the day I am lost for words. I know it will not heal a break but for a twisted or sprained ankle this worked so the few bucks I paid for this was well worth a trip to the Doctor this brace was a game changer.

I'm adding onto my prior review because I want everyone to know that these "TechWare Pro Ankle Compression Sleeves" are BETTER THAN ANY BOOT SUPPORT, and MORE MANAGEABLE -- you can get up and down staircases, etc., without further endangering your safety. The boot(s) that you get in the hospital/from the doctor, etc. have limited-to-poor traction in the soles, and are more likely to CAUSE further injury than heal the injured limb: I find the doc-boots to be too big (NB: They are one-size-fits-all), too long, and too slippery. It's like trying to walk with a diver's flip-flops on (that divers use for swimming): Great in the water; severely dangerous on land. These compression sleeves can be washed/air-dried in no time and adapt to footware: Just keep them loose-tied; even better if you get a larger-size sneaker and make THAT your main-boot-support, along with the compression sleeves. I bought 6 pairs. I alternate clean/used from day to day, as I'm presently in the middle of a broken toe/fractured toe (due to sprain) on same foot. I remove the sleeve at night; let the blood/oxygen flow to the limb. Worth the price; BETTER THAN ANY SUPPORT BRACE/BOOT!!

Thank you to another reviewer for suggesting the XXL. I wear a size 11 shoe and these fit perfectly. Tight but comfortable. Due to bad arthritis in both feet and ankles, these help with stability and support. Nothing is going to erase the pain and I accept that. These are well made and highly recommended. They are making walking more enjoyable.
