Beautiful design
Journey of Oud Brilliante is an amazing fragrance. It comes in a beautiful giftable box. The bottle is elegantly designed as well. It is Eau De Perfum and lasts a long time. The fragrance is Unisex but I think it leans more towards masculine side. The atomiser is strong. Overall, it would make a lovely gift for £34.99.

Sadly underwhelming (in my opinion at least)
I really wanted to like this, but sadly, I really don't. I was really excited to try this and was really happy when this was recommended to me on Amazon Vine, but sadly, it did fall short of my expectations. Firstly, the eau de parfum came very well-packaged and looked quite elegant and luxurious, so I thought we were off to a good start. Unfortunately though, when I tried it, I noticed that while the scent had a nice blend, it didn’t quite last as long as I hoped I also don't really smell the lavender? The 12+ hour claim felt a bit optimistic, as the fragrance faded noticeably after a few hours. It didn’t have the intensity or staying power I was expecting from a luxury perfume. The scent is pleasant and soft, quite suitable for unisex wear, but it didn’t have the depth or complexity to keep me coming back for more. All in all, this is an okay fragrance, but it’s just okay. I’m really disappointed because I expected more, and it didn’t quite meet the mark. As it stands, I can’t really recommend it. 3/5 (Okay, but improvements needed)

Review for the opag4orange bottle of perfume.
The perfume I'm reviewing is in the opaque orange bottle. Presentation is sublime. It is boxed in a right hand opening book style gift box, not thecwestern left hand opening but it is a middle eastern perfume so that will be the norm for their regions. There is an outer cardboard sleeve housing this book. The bottle is heavy glass. The perfume, I can't find what notes marry for this particular perfume anywhere, not even on the best fragrance review site but I suspect it's probably because this particular 'Journey of Oud' line is so new. So I'm reviewing totally on my amateur perfume collector of 40 years nose. If you're not a fan of strong Oud' based perfumes give this a miss because this is a heavy smoky amber based Oud' which thrives on your pulse points. After 30 minutes it does sweeten a little and I detect an orange amber note and some vanilla but that smokiness is still making its presence known. When I say smoky I'm not talking about cigarette smoky but a whisky or unsmoked cigar smoky and it's heaven to my nose. If you're a whisky drinker imagine that first opening of a Laphroaig or Talisker when you inhale that peaty smoky temptation, combine it with a cut but unsmoked Cuban cigar and that is what this perfume is. On my skin it lasted 4 hours in the crook of my elbow and this is where the smoky, orange amber seemed to grow over a couple of hours then it settled but was still there after 4 hours., I'm sure there is some patchouli and maybe a pink flower like carnation too. On the back of my hand I could detect a softer vanilla based smoky oud. On my cotton hanky I could still smell this THREE days later! Unbelievable. Cotton items always grab perfume better than any other material. It is more masculine than feminine and would be excellent layered with a soft vanilla floral perfume. If you're a perfume collector/lover or of a certain age you may remember Ciara, well this is the tough big brother of Ciara. I love this but I'm a fan of perfumes that pack a punch so it's right up my street. For reference I'm a 57 year old woman. Excellent value for money.

Only gets a star because of the nice packaging
I had to double-take when coming to review this perfume. Lavender?! This is meant to be lavender?! Let me tell you, this is nothing like lavender. The recognisable notes from the description is a vanilla cinnamon aspect, that is quickly over-ridden by a burnt, smokey wood smell. Not like cedar or oud, or whatever, but like the smell of lit matches. Not necessarily sulphur. The smell of standing next to a campfire burning greenbranches. Whilst that evokes a certain sense of nostalgia, in this perfume is actually really unpleasant, and gets more unpleasant the longer you smell it. Like someone just through some kerosene on the smokey fire and maybe some old musty carpet. The quality is AWFUL, and I can not believe such lovely packaging went into this abomination of a smell,. And at current price of £34.99?! OMG call the Dr, I'm choking. Do not waste your money on this.

An orange bottle not blue!
At the time of leaving this review the product images are showing the wrong product. Currently it's showing a blue bottled fragrance called Blue Mood in the product images, but correctly shows the orange packaging and bottle in the description. With the above out of the way this is very nice which admittedly is wildly subjective* thing to say. It's quite potent so not a lot is needed and it does seem to last a decent length of time. I'm not sure about 12 hours but it's a good while. The presentation is really nice and the bottle is excellent with a really solid chunk of metal for the lid. That surprised me because i imagined it was going to be plastic but nothing of the sort and it's weighty / nicely made. *In terms of notes of the fragrance i've no idea, it just smells pleasant to me A pleasant fragrance and a huge bottle!
