Excellent first focal plane optic
Absolutely love this scope on my air rifle. The glass is very clear, and the 50mm objective lens allows plenty of light in. Parallax adjustment is excellent and it makes it easy to dial in a perfectly clear sight picture from 3X to 18X. The first focal plane is fantastic for delicate shot placement, and the illuminated reticle helps in bright sunlight and in low light conditions. First rate job by Sightmark on this one!

SightMark Citadel 5-30x56 LR2reticle
The Optic is pretty Sweet for the price. It is a Tad Over Glassed to Put on a 308. Better to have more than less. The 3-18x50 version is perfect for it. But your money your choice. Both are fine. The knobs match the LR2 Reticle. As long as you pay attention and get that model. STRELOCKPro Has the Reticle I wrote the email asking for The 5-30 ffp reticle. In it so you have Support, your welcome. A 20moa EGW rail with medium Rings will set you up for success. A 30moa will be to much but totally bottom you out. 9.7 mils up which is ruffly three Rotations of the knob. Little sluff either way depending on zero. The scope tracks fine. So the bad. Which is potentially arts and crafts fix. No True Zero stop. No BDC Elevation Knob. You can Make a sticker for that off charts and YouTube. No Markings except a Line to know what Rotation your on. You could place a scribe scratch mark for this prettt easy especially if you paint it. The Scope appears to be made to be predominantly utilized for holdovers/unders. The scope is China glass obviously yet they paid attention. Some YouTube reviews have said the parallax knob and the illumination portion reticle don’t move well. This is opinion. I think it works fine. The illumination works like a aim-point or TRS knob and the parallax is not easy but also not difficult. The Elevation and Windage both have descent clicks However they have a little stuff to them due to how it is made. You can add a nylon Washer not supplied and tighten it for a zero stop of sorts. The Glass is Clear the Scope Covers and sunshade come with. So Even though it’s the midline priced Affordable Sightmark. If you are Looking Mil knob Mil Reticle this is it.

Reliable, sturdy, feels light, buy it
Even tho says the weight is heavier than all my other optics, this feels the lightest on my rifle and in hand. Tracks perfectly after 500+ mills of adjustments and reticle clear and crisp out to 1000. After 1000 edges are slightly blurry but not unusable at all. Id say this is a 1mile and in optic. 6 5 creedmore, 223,5.56,308 perfect.

Very nice scope.
This is my second sight mark scope. I love it. Nice and clear. The reticle is perfect for using hold overs. I have it on one of my AR'S. No problem shooting clay peigons set up at 300 yards. Great scope at a great price. Im glad i caught it on sale.

suitable for most uses.
Not a bad scope at all. I did end up returning after a few weeks of trial and very light use. I was not a fan of the fully illuminated reticle. Some may love it for their use, but it was to what I was looking for. Solid scope and very bright illumination settings. Glass clarity was good for the price.

Clear view and legit customer service.
I have a couple Sightmark scopes and like them all. Their price lets me use them hard and in doing so I needed to use their warranty, and when I did they came through awesome.
