High quality thick edging for steps. I was looking to get something like we had in this house from the 1950s where it is built well and will hold up for 30-40yrs. This for residential is what you want. For commercial it will still probably last 15-20 if you install it well. Had to use tin snips to cut it because it is that well made you can do it with diagnol side cutters if you take it 1/8 inch at a time. This isn't the cheap stuff like in home depot or lowes. I am a big dude 340lbs and have a family with big people it is working beautifully even with my work boots.

This edge works great for me between the threshold of my living and dining rooms. The provided nails are very good quality and only add a small bump along the surface. I had to cut mine, and I probably didn’t have the right tools. It ended up cracking in one spot because of the way I cut it. I was able to use a mallet to make it fit and look good, though. I think it turned out great. I couldn’t find this at the home improvement store.

These are the best to have when you have a step transition. It will hold the carpet edge or vinyl in place, and they look decent. They clean easily, reasonable price, easy to install.

This worked...kinda. had to cut down ti fit so we couldnt return

When I moved into my home years ago there was one of these aluminum stair noses. I have never seen another in the store but I found them in Amazon and now all my stairs are secure.

Very good got it quick

A good piece of stair edging which comes with fixing nails, I feel it will last indefinitely on the top of my stairs and the only reason it's missing a star is due to the price (I cant believe how expensive stair edgings are). this particular Pewter fluted edging is nice looking which provides a little grip due to the design and it's easy to cut to size and fit.

Great product but they should make them longer. Also there should not be a restriction on how many you can buy. I had 12 steps to use them on but I only could buy 6. Someone else ended up buying the other six for me. 🤦🏻 Please stop that useless restriction.

Too expensive

Great bit of kit and easy to hammer in - good nails come with it - but far too expensive. I was desperate for something to stop the carpet from fraying but all these products, including the wooden ones, were a total RIP OFF! Still, this IS the UK, what choice do we have?
