As a denture wearer, I do suffer from occasional discomfort when wearing them. Conventional denture adhesives help keep them in place, however, they don't prevent gum irritation, which occurs through constant eating, chewing, etc. About five years ago, I discovered (quite by accident) Benzodent pain relieving dental adhesive. I was thrilled to learn that it wasn't a discontinued product at all (I got it at the clearance aisle of Christmas Tree shops), but that I could order it right here on Amazon. Ever since I've been a loyal customer. How loyal? I just ordered some today, and was reminded that I had previously purchased it a total of twenty three times! In any event, what I like about Gum Guardian (aside from its natural ingredients) is that I can prep my dentures with a few drops before applying the Benzodent. As a result, the numbing effects of both products has greatly reduced my gum inflammation, and for that, I am eternally grateful. If you're a denture wearer also, I recommend you try the "one two punch" of both products.

The supplement has one of the more unusual boxes and labels that I've seen. It doesn't provide information about the amount of each ingredient included, the serving size, or the amount of each ingredient in each serving. The suggested use is a bit unusual as the amount it recommends depends on the age of the person who is using the supplement. For example, it recommends giving 3 to 8 drops daily to 4-month-old to 2-year-olds, 8 to 18 drops daily for 2 to 6-year-olds, and 18 to 30 drops daily for anyone over the age of six. These are unclear instructions as the amount of drops recommended vary greatly. 3 to 8 drops could be a pretty dramatic difference, but, of course, it's hard to tell when they don't include the information about how much of each ingredient is included in the serving size. It's disappointing because it does have some quality ingredients like whole cloves, glycerin, and catnip and these ingredients are organic. The drops have a minty fresh taste with a hint of clove - I don't mind taking the drops on their own, but prefer taking them with water. It's difficult to tell if this is a good value or not because I'm not sure how many servings are actually contained in the bottle, but $10 per bottle is pretty inexpensive, so it doesn't cost too much to give this a try. I do like that the supplement is free of sugar, alcohol, and essential oils. It does claim that it is lab tested, however, given the obscurity of the label, I'm not sure how much I trust that claim, and I would assume that it is not third party tested because of the lack of information on the label. When opening the bottle, it did have a pleasant smell and seemed fresh.

This is an interesting blend of catnip and clove (along with glyecerin and water) that provides very, very quick relief from gum or tooth/teething pain. The bottle comes with a glass eyedropper measure and there are guidelines on box for how much to use. I tested this first on myself and -- wow, almost instant numbing effect on my gums. We later tried on my friend's teething baby, who shifted from crying and fussing to a surprised expression that soon became a happy face. That's the best review of how this works. I appreciate that the ingredients are plant based and that no alcohol is used. Definitely a good thing for the medicine cabinet in any family that includes a baby or toddler. And, as noted, also effective for adults. A bit pricey but definitely worth the pain relief. Recommended!

I like everything about the Gum Guardian from Releafia ! Less is more when it comes to little ones, especially things that they ingest. No sugar and no alcohol, just natural ingredients like clove and catnip to soothe and treat sore gums before, during and after teething. Non GMO and a generous size, makes it an excellent value for the money. I feel that this is a safe product for our family member who is just entering the teething phase. It came safety sealed in an amber glass bottle and uses an eye dropper delivery to keep it clean. We haven't noticed a difference with the drooling, but time will tell. Super happy to have found this natural product to assist during a trying time in baby's development. 5 STARS!
