Worked great increasing the system memory in my HP Elitebook 840 G1 from 4 to 8 GB. Arrived fairly quick and happy with this product. Found a video on youtube on how to install it. Press in at around a 45 degree angle and then push the memory module straight down into the socket. Notches on the sides of the memory module should align up with the metal pins in the socket.

I was able to installed the HP RAM module quickly in my HP laptop. I ran some tests to max out the RAM usage. These tests were satisfactory.The HP RAM module I received is Green instead of Blue as shown in the Amazon descriptions. I was not able to identify the information labels on the RAM module to compared with the Amazon descriptions, but the HP sealed packet envelope has the same Amazon ordering information on it. I bought the RAM module from HP to avoid compatibility issue, even though HP RAM module is more expensive by about $10.00.I am generally satisfy with the purchase of the HP RAM module.

Just your standard laptop RAM, nothing spectacular about it, nothing bad about it. Works fine in my laptop.
