Real Deal Turkish tea! Best black tea on the earth, tastes great and stays fresh for a long time because it is fully organic from the black sea side of Turkey. It is always plus if you have the real deal Turkish tea pot (double boiler) and if you know how to boil it. The Tourist version (yellow pack) is the main and everybody's favorite and the most commonly used one.

I lived and worked in Turkey for almost 8 years. I was introduced to this tea in the local carpet shops and then I started to purchase this brand and make it at home. The best way to prepare it is with the Turkish double teapot system. I bought mine in Turkey but they are also available on Amazon. Add water to both the top and bottom teapots. Add 4 teaspoons of tea to the top teapot. Heat the water to boiling in the lower teapot for 30 minutes. Pour some of the tea through a strainer into a transparent tea glass or cup. Add hot water from the lower teapot to adjust the tea to your preferred color and strength. If the water in either pot gets low, just add more water and keep it on the low setting on the stove for hours of pleasant tea drinking. The loose leaf Lipton tea I have used here in the US does not even remotely compare to this product in flavor or in cost.

I was inspired by the Turkish dramas on Netflix where tea is a constant, so I had to try Turkish tea!!! We love it. I did not invest in a Turkish tea pot, just brewed it for 14 minutes using not a regular meshtea infuser but a fine mesh infuser because this tea is very finely ground. It worked perfectly and was delicious iced or hot.
