5" x 7/8" Wool Felt Polishing Wheel Disc for Angle Grinder, Very-Fine Wool Buffing Wheel Type 27 Flap Disc, 3 Pack

I put one of these disks on my Milwaukee angle grinder, and all seemed in order. I'm not sure about whether this is just the way it is (I'm new to the angle grinder and all the various wheels you can get for it), but I put it to some steel that was not super smooth (but not rough either, just normal surface variations I would say) and the wheel started smelling hot, like it was burning. It's probably not to be used until the surface is smoother, so probably not a serious issue.

The diameter is 5”. If you have a 4.5” grinder with guard, you need to remove the guard to use this. It is well made, no issue on the grinder, it’s balanced even at the highest speed. Although depending on what you are polishing, you will need to run this at the suggested rpm for your task. At high speed, it generates a lot of heat on the surface.
