Longman Basic Dictionary of American English Paper 2nd Edition

I bought this as a gift for my computer-illiterate husband who had worn out a previous dictionary. I chose a dictionary with sensible definitions (no defining a word in terms of itself), hand holdable size, and of such length as to allow spelling of words to be easily found. He loves the new dictionary. This dictionary would also be suitable for middle and high school students and basic English learners.

This dictionary is amazing and very usefull tool those who speak English as second language.it has all the word you need to speak and learner English in school and to listen the news and movie very well. I solute those but this great book together and published and also those who saling this great book.

This dictionary provides simple definitions for many words. It limits the alternative meanings in definitions which makes it easier for the student to comprehend a word. It is very helpful in tutoring.

Great dictionary for kids or foreigner speaking. It has simple definitions. Easy to understand.

It is a nice book for English learner.Not even just kids, there is picture and example to explain the meaning, however, this is not the one I expect first, I thought there were more pages word, but since is for kids, we can see that book is pretty good enough for kids.
