belVita Soft Baked Breakfast Bars, Banana Bread, 5 Packs (1 Biscuit Per Pack)

These have a soft banana flavor and are toooed with some sugar which makes them sweet with a little crunch and hard to resists. I love these. They stay fresh in the packaging even after the date and they are easy to bring along anywhere.

We used to get these when we lived in Portugal and I was so sad to see how hard they are to find here. Loved the strawberry and chocolate chip flavors, but could only find the banana bread here. I enjoy the flavor and the softness is similar to what I remember, but the little crunchy bits are a bit confusing. I like them, but my son immediately said he wasn’t a fan of it based on the small crunchy pieces. Overall these are a good flavor, but I hope BelVita will release more flavors in coming years.

I'm bothering to review because it asked me to but I do not buy these things on Amazon anymore, now that I know they exist. I can just buy them at my local grocery store and they are much fresher and never squished. I put one in my backpack every day for my public transit commute to work and enjoy it while I watch a show on my phone and sip some coffee. Truly, I well rounded breakfast starter. I order new food items on Amazon sometimes, something random to try but, all in all, I think buying food online is a stupid idea. My abstract opinions aside though, this is the tastiest Belvita product I know next to the citrus and cranberry crackers. Mmm, Belvita!

Be honest I’ve been avoiding buying this product for one or two years whenever I see Val Vita I think of the big cheese log and how that’s going to pertain to banana bread is simply a stretch my mind can’t do. But when the price dropped on Amazon prime pantry to a very good price I said let’s give this a try how bad can it be if it’s not bad I can always feed it to the dog next-door. So I purchased it and it showed up and there really is nothing to do with Val Vita other than the name with this product which is good and it was banana flavored and it was like a tiny danish. However it was not what I would call moist but if you don’t it or Thank you or ate it with hot coffee it would be OK but they’re individually packed which is great so if you are driving to work or taking transportation to work or do you want to have a snack in the afternoon at work and keep it in your desk drawer it would work fine but don’t expect banana bread like your grandma made expect banana bread like the really hot looking girl down the hallway in college made and everybody made a big deal out of it for obvious reasons. But it was OK I’ll look to see what other types they have OK not fantastic

Loved these! Great banana bread flavor. Very moist. Great size and convenient for taking anywhere. Will definitely buy again!

Got these for a road trip and they were so very yummy! They are big and soft and filling enough until you stop for a meal. They are not so soft that they bend in half when you eat them. Sturdy enough to eat with one hand without crumbs getting everywhere (like a dry granola bar does). Delicious!

I absolutely love the regular belVita breakfast bars. I absolutely love banana bread. In my mind the belVita soft baked banana bread would be a perfect combination of 2 things that I love. I was wrong!!!! To say that I was disappointed with this product would be an understatement. These bars, although "soft baked" were dry. So dry that I needed something to drink to wash down each bite. (Some of the bars were half broken into nothing but crumbs.) On top of which, there's something in them, I don't know what, but I couldn't chew it. It wasn't crunchy, whatever it was. Something like oat bran, or maybe flax. It was a flat, tough, small substance throughout each bar that seemed impossible to chew. If the bars hadn't been so dry and crumbly I may have been able to figure out what the tough, little bits were. (As I'm writing this it occurs to me that I should've dug through the crumbs of the broken bars to see if I could figure out what the hard substance was.......) I wish that I could say that the disappointment ended there. Sadly, it did not! The banana bread bars may smell like bananas, but they don't taste like them. Nor do they taste like banana bread. I was highly disappointed with these soft baked banana bread bars. I do not recommend them, and I won't purchase them again. Well, maybe if belVita comes out with a new and improved version, I might give them another try. Until then, I'm sticking to the original, crunchy belVita.

I like the flavor and the texture. A bit expensive, IMO, but worth it. Box claims will satisfy you for 4 hours, but I find not to be true. Good grab on the go breakfast, instead of regular bars.
